Communists, LGBTQ Activists' Christian Coffee Shop Targeting Continues

- The owner of an embattled Christian coffee shop in Colorado said his business and ministry are continuing to persist despite facing a barrage of protests from communists and LGBTQ protesters over the past year. Jamie Sanchez, founder of Recycle God's Love, once again joined CBN News to offer a powerful update about the Drip Cafe, a coffee shop he launched as part of his affiliated ministry Project Revive.
Sanchez said the coffee shop, despite facing an ongoing onslaught of chaotic demonstrations, has been training and helping its first homeless worker. It's a recognition of his ministry's effort to help the homeless through employment and connections to much-needed resources. "[Our goal is to hire] homeless individuals, to give them a real W2 job, and to also disciple them while they're working alongside us," Sanzhez said. "And the project encompasses everything from providing housing to financial advising with them, spiritual guidance."
The first hire - named Scott - has reportedly had a wonderful and fruitful experience. Once Sanchez sound out Scott was in need of some help, he realized it was the right time to finally launch the program. "God just put it on my heart," he said. "So, I hired him on and ... it's crazy, because I hired him, he comes in, we're making sure he's staying sober, giving him everything right up front like, 'Hey, like this is serious. We're treating this job like a real job. If you're late, if you don't show up, it's just like a real job. If you don't show up to a shift and you don't call, you're let go.'"
Fortunately, the process has gone very well, with Scott persisting. Even if someone is let go from the job, Sanchez said his ministry will still help him or her with discipleship, finding housing, and other relevant needs. Already, Scott, who excelled at the job, is leaving his shelter and moving into housing through a local partner ministry.
"It just shows ... how God really ... when you put the trust in Him, what He does," Sanchez said, noting that working alongside like-minded people has helped Scott thrive. "It really just proves that the chains that come with being homeless can be broken with the power of Jesus Christ."
Despite this success, Sanchez said the protests against his cafe still unfold one day a month, with the chaos unfolding on what should be the busiest day for business.
Christians in Denver, don't stay silent. Stand up for this coffee shop.
I’m a new Christian in Denver. Just saved in December. Lemme tell you - this place is openly demonic and I keep getting visions to get out of here because something terrible is going to happen. I’m out in the next month, only just realized some Christian coffee shop exists. Honestly, I feel like all Gods people should get out of here and head south. It’s overrun with demons, and I think Gods judgement is coming specifically to this area.

SO LONG AS : it's done @ a fair distance, with respect, and WITHOUT any type of vandalism or intimidation. So it's nuanced. At a distance & respectful free speech is much different than more harmful acts that should b prosecuted. Right?

I would think this is a Civil Rights violation...attempting to shut a business down based on their religious beliefs. If people did this to a trans owned business, the FBI and state law enforcement would be kicking people's doors down and handing down stiff multi-year sentences.

I’ve actually been there. The staff are very nice, the service was great. You honestly wouldn’t know that it was a Christian owned establishment unless someone said something. Nothing about it gives any indication of homophobia at all.

This is nothing short of fascism. In 1930s Germany, this is exactly what was done to Jewish businesses, peaking in the horrific Reichskristallnacht in 1938. As a German, witnessing a modern version of this, makes my stomach turn. Although, what enrages me even more in today’s version, is the disgustingly blatant hypocrisy. They‘re conducting aggressive, anti-human bullying-but under the guise of compassion, tolerance, inclusion, diversity and whatnot. Also the face act itself was originally established to protect houses of worship (as well as medical buildings) and the like from violence or physical obstruction to religious worship. They only used the face act as a pretext to prosecute peaceful pro-lifers from praying outside an abortion clinic.

Just wondering how practical it is for you to bless each of the protesters with a coffee etc?? Wouldn’t want you to get scalded if they threw the coffee back at you!!?? But it’d be great if every time they came to cause trouble they received a blessing. It might cause them to question their actions/ get bored.... ??
