Why I use blocking wires to block straight edge knit shawls

Using blocking wires in place of t-pins for blocking shawls helps me eliminate unwanted scalloped edges that happens while using t-pins. In this video I show you my full blocking process after finishing knitting a shawl with straight edges.
I use a wet blocking process to even out any imperfections and set the final shape and size of my shawls.
