I wasnt financial free until my 40âs and Iâm still in my 40âs, bought my third house already, earn on a monthly through passive income and got 4 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesnât matter if you donât have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future! Successful people don't become that way overnight. Most people you see as a glance-wealth, a great career, purpose-is the result of hard work and hustle over time. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life
I understand the fact that tomorrow isn't promised to anyone, but investing today is a hard thing to do for me now because I have no idea of how and where to invest in.I would be happy if you could advise me based on how you went about yours, as I am ready to go the passive income path.?.
@Bryan I need guide so i can salvage my port-folio due to the massive dips and come up with better strategies. How can one reach this advisor?
Donât wait until the market skyrocket again then you start biting your fingers wishing you made the decision to invest. bought my third house already, earn on a monthly through passive income and got 4 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesnât matter if you donât have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future! Yo! Definitely you are right. You took the truth right out of my mouth. A lot of these new investors fail to acknowledge that guidance is paramount to make profit from the market until they learn the hard way. Quite a pity
Hey Ben, thanks for sharing! Are you in the VC & finance of innovation class this semester?
Hey, What does one in equity capital market division in a bank?
Carried interest is 20% above the committed capital(100mm) instead, in your example
When do these associates realise the carry in VC firms? Any investment takes 8 years to hatch results
What is your view on advantage of some of these funds as on an average they still under perform many leading index funds. The ones the do perform well do so above 20-40%+ range but very few are in that category. A lot of partner positions are much older than that. Some traditional firms is more like 45-50+. Also the model of MBA is a little old. With more specialised leading Masters degrees they can enter into senior associate or VP.
Are you talking about HF?
@@TLiu-1b yes
why do big 4 partners make the same as PE and VC
Seeing those numbers - wow, that's a lot of dough....
....which you kind of were going to end up going back into but then didn't.
There's definitely a balance between happiness and money, but knowing what you know now, if you went back to 2020 when you were applying for jobs/applying for your MBA in order to get a job (most likely in VC), would you still choose the path you've chosen? You'd have financial stability in one, but that entrepreneurial element would still be knawing at you, while in the one you're in now, you're in a lot more debt, it's less stable, but more satisfying.
And do you ever think what if?
Yay! Letâs pay 2% and 20% for them to underperform when I can pay a manager 1% flat fee and outperform the relative benchmark.
Bro, what difference all the big B schools make apart from networking? I see that all the courses are available online
If you do an MBA online at a big school youve just been scammed, 75% of the value is networking the other 25% is the school you go to. None of the benefit is in what you learn.
How easy is it for a sales trader to get into the buy side?
Interested to know about this. But I think he is a IBD guy, so he wonât know about any other hedge fund strategies other than L/S equity đđ
Where is long only?
Future hedge fund manager heređ
Are you seriously selling your resume? Why not just share them, everyone uses the same format anyway? Your resume probably just had very good experiences, no resume format is worth buying.
He's selling it to make money. If no one sees value in it then they won't buy it. Let the man get paid đ
Facts the resume format is so stupid
@@J.I.0 yea but this guy runs a CZcams account to help with people interested in finance so why would he not just help for free?
@@USA-qm3jy he does CZcams for money, why wouldnât he sell them?
@@USA-qm3jy It's all about money man. He's not doing CZcams out the kindness of his heart đ it's good if you get value from the videos but make no mistake, this is a business for him
Some MF PE firms also have the concept of phantom carry for Analysts and Associates that can bump up the comp by 30-60k
6:45 hedge fund: super performance based. and age range.
How come people dont include AM in buyside?
Because itâs not the buy side
U should do a reaction video to HBO's Industry haha
haha ok will watch a few episodes
you should go back to the sellside, terrible risk appreciation
You really left out asset management??
Great info as always!
Would be good to add general weekly hours work for each of them -- curious to see work/life balance for each of these.
Unrelated to this video: Are you buying crypto now? its super low right now...seems like an opportunity
have been consistently buying crypto every week. i set a recurring buy so that i don't have to think about it haha
@@rareliquidcareers haha nice. yeah seems like a good time...
To clarify, these ranges are for the top bracket firms correct?
No, top bracket is 4-40.
No. This is more of an average. For example, the biggest PE funds will pay $150,000 base salary for junior associates and bonus will be 125%-175% of their base salary. So TC will be $335,000-$415,000. This is because the biggest PE funds have more money to give around. If you work at a much smaller firm then your total compensation will be like $265,000-325,000.

They donât pay
Do people usually jump into PE or HF jobs right out of school? I know investment banks hire analysts right out of school / mba but not sure about the others
I know VC firms tend to be a lot more tight knit and are focused heavily on networking
Asset management?
Hard to take this seriously
Whatâs your source on these comp packages?

@@jameskitching6187 Timestamp? I just rewatched
Warren has mastered what patience looks like. He has stuck to the markets, having a long term view on the markets. This is what I'm struggling to do, trying to learn how to not react to market news about inflation and all. I have currently set aside about $253k to put in the market now that prices are down. Any ideas?......
It takes some gut to really remain in the market despite downturns and all. So just find quality stocks that have long term potential, and ride with those stocks. I have found it takes someone who is very familiar with the market to make such good picks.
I agree. I have pulled in more than $435k since 2020 through my advisor. It pays off more in the long run to just pick quality stocks and ride with those stocks.
.......
This is something I've been planning to do for a while now. My portfolio has been falling, and I'm scared, but I know the market always recovers. I wonder if I've been on the right stocks. How do I get in touch with your advisor?...........
I work with "jenny pamogas canaya". I understand what it's like to see your portfolio going down. I hope the performance improves.......
I was able to reach her web page on google and email her. I'm hoping she will respond to me shortly........
a total waste of time.
I will forever be indebted to you, youâve changed my whole life Iâll continue to preach about your name for the world to hear youâve saved me from a huge financial debt with just little investment thanks so much Brian Harding Dawahare.
I don't have much to say. Brian Harding Dawahare daily signal is 80% accurate from what I have experienced and highly recommended.
Exactly there are actually no particular sectors I focus on. I have been copying trades from Brian Harding Dawahare since the pandemic years. That was a smart move since my portfolio has grown at a tremendous pace. I can't say that for my IRA, which has just been trudging along. I even had to roll most of it over to Brian's strategies. My portfolio just mirrors what he trades, and not just in some particular industries of my choosing.
Is he really that good? And how may I contact him if that isn't too much to ask??
@@m.d8652 Run a check on âBrian Harding Dawahareâ. Youâll see his website.
Iâm delighted to have found this opportunity; I dipped by $12k in stocks last week alone. Itâs crazy! I just found the professionalâs webpage and Iâve already written to him.
This clown is the worst hire of JP Morgan lol
Hate behind a keyboard. You're definitely a coward.
