    Hey mate! I'm from Brazil and I have a Jetta R line and ....each day more in love with my car. Here in Brazil VW does not sell Jetta with manual transmission unfortunately. Even R line was discontinued since 2021. Here only Jetta GLI stronger, more equipped and sure, expensive, much more. Your analysis translates the truly sensation of driving this car. I came from another my old cars who have multilink rear suspension on rear and guess what!? I found the MQB chassis outstanding and more efficient and confrontable than my previous car I ever had before. I got happy see you mentioned that cars over 100 thousand dollars doesn't bring the same quality and performance on driving in special on high speeds than Jetta does very well. I love to make turns with it. I got impressed since I drove mine and I intend to stay with it many years beyond. Congrats for analysis and congrats to VW engineering.

    I rented a Jetta last fall. I was really impressed. Tons of legroom, quiet and rides well for a compact, good MPG and handled well. If I needed a car in that category I would absolutely consider it.

    Great review, I own a 2020 Manual R-Line. Could use bit more power but the 6-speed compensates. Love my Jetta!

    I agree, not a fan of black wheels either. Nor fake exhaust tips or auto stop start. Great review!

    Leasing this at the moment and it is a beast where I actually like the simplicity of the smartboard where I just let my S21 take care of the missing Google maps.

    Thanks for the review it help me in my decision to go for a 2023 Sportsline six speed manual transmission. The 2023 jetters don't come with a push button start or moonroof. But do come with a full digital cluster gauges and a upgraded engine. Fun car to drive.

    Test drove one today. That window behind the rear door is useless and adds to the massive blind spot there. Other than that, we really enjoyed the drive and would buy anyway.

    I just bought a 6 Speed Rline. They actually have a rear valance you can get to remove those fake tips. They also have a tune for it that gives it another 40 HP and 50ftlbs of torque. Plenty of power then!!

    • @adrianjhatter
      @adrianjhatter Před 2 lety +1

      Have you used the tune on yours? I've been trynna find a lil performance upgrade for my 21 Jetta S (no R-line available when I bought mine). Could use a lil bump in power but otherwise satisfied

      @@adrianjhatter Yes I have it on mine. It is amazing. Company is called Unitronic and you can remove the tune yourself if you need to take it to the dealer for service.

      @jbshp2011 Před 2 lety

      @@cotyboggs4657 the 2022 looks alright but the rear bumpers looks like somebody punched them right in the mouth. volkswagens thing is they want to cheapen the vehicle by taking away the cold weather package that included the remote start, which i really want. sure you can start the car by using your phone via the car net but i would rather start the car using the key fob that something vw should have kept on the 2022 se and the sport jettas.big fail on their part vw.

  • @rueben44
    @rueben44 Před 3 lety +3

    let me start by saying I like your reviews, but giving that interior 4 out of 5 stars...😂. It isn't just the hard plastic but VW's refusal to modernize their cabins basic design. No features and old Infotainment technology. The arms rest is too short and far back. No proper place to put a phone yours is sticking out. I see the slit next to the cup holders which I think is their solution but still a bad location. Bad door panels get worse when you move to the rear seats...I could go on and on. I have had many VWs and they are still stuck in the past.

    • @SonOfTheDawn515
      @SonOfTheDawn515 Před 2 lety

      I liked the arm rest in my 2013 2.5 SE. Just a little slide forward action and bring able to set the angle with a soft enough pad... No complaints. The new ones... Yea. I feel you on most of your comment.
