I think I’m going to give this a go this month. I’ve been struggling with my depression again so it would be nice to have a very visual look at my productivity.
I always enjoy your videos but this one in particular is so useful. I have clinical depression and I'm not able to work, so I have this massive tracker in my bujo that I print out, and it includes things like getting up, cleaning my teeth, making my bed and having a shower. Because as you said, when you're not in a good way it is so hard to do those things, so it's important to be able to remind yourself that you managed to do them sometimes. I'd love to give this process a try, as a break from my regular huge tracker, so thank you for explaining it all so carefully. All the best.
I saw the phone call icon on your tracker and thought it was a noodle and my thought to myself was, "Tracking when you eat pasta? I'm a pasta fiend. I'm in!"

i agree, or it helps lots depending on the illness (helps me with allergies/congestion), but i'm currently on crutches with a lower leg cast and it feels like a task and a half to shower

I love this idea because I am no polar and so the weeks that I'm on my downs and lows I literally don't do anything nor go anywhere for weeks unless I HAVE TO. I'm going to try this. I think it'll be a great motivator. Thanks love.

Thank you for this explanation video! I'm definitely going to give this a try next month. It sounds like the perfect way to keep an eye on overactivity or depressive episodes - which is something I need to keep tabs on with having a chronic illness. I love that you don't stress over the little imperfections, it makes your planning style more achievable. 💜✨
Queen Harley I am so bad at keeping track of my chronic illness and how my mood is affected so I’m hoping to try this system out. I have been looking for a good system that is easy but efficient to do especially on days where I’m feeling crummy or days where I just can’t seem to muster up any energy.
I've been struggling trying to wrap my head around how to set up and use a Productivity Tracker and then I found your video and it was like something really clicked for me. Big "Ah-ha" moment. Then when you started talking about self care, chronic pain and depression, I almost shed tears because as someone who also has a chronic illness and depression, it was SO refreshing to hear you speak about the daily wins that a lot of people who don't have chronic illnesses just take for granted - such as showering and brushing teeth and not just making it all major task oriented. I'm even going to add a meds icon to record that I have taken them. Thank you so very much for your gracious help. You are an angel! :)
Great idea! I would also add a symbol for when I do an act of kindness, as I do like to do at least one a day. 🙂

It was sooooooooooooo gooodd..... I mean i always end up the day thinking that i wasted so many days and time...... It is so good to not feel pressured to do things and not be able to do anything.... Like i can just draw a nose and thinking i have breathed the whole day ... And it is productive otherwise i won't be alive 😂😂❤️❤️❤️❤️

I love this! What I think I’d like to do with the days with in the tracker, is make a mood tracker with colors and use a tombow marker to highlight what my mood was for the day.

When you have ✂️ is 4x in one day...does that indicate 4 hrs or just an excessive amount of your day?

I just started a bullet journal a month ago but was already demotivated because I was planning things to do and then I’d end up doing other chores instead. Watching your video first was wonderful, because I am so excited to make this system work in a similar way for my own journal. TheBoostedJournal’s video was so eye-opening to explain the format and the level system. This video was a great idea and I’m really happy you posted it.

Could you tell me what is the difference between this and your ordinary habittracker?
the habit tracker focuses on the specific tasks and doing them regularly. You choose a few things to focus on and try to do them daily to create a habit. But this one is to track all sorts of things you do. The things aren't necessarily habits, they're just tasks that needs doing. It doesn't have the same pressure to be "perfect". It's useful for people who struggle with feeling that they "don't do enough" each day and to show what exactly you have done so you can see how long it's been since you did it last. It doesn't force you to make habits, but the accomplishment of having been productive is still there. I for example feel awful when I do habit trackers, because I can't do them often enough to feel like I did a good job, but this seems a lot more positive and reassuring, so I will definitely try it.
