What's the difference between the Galaxy '74 Pedal and the UAD Galaxy Plugin?
I'm curious to know what happens to the normal functions after you set the alt functions, then flip back up to normal. I mean the markers on the knobs don't move. So what happens when you adjust the normal settings again? To they "catch up" too?
Very curious how this compares to the new Boss pedal! I adore the UA Space Echo plugin so honestly if the pedal is just that plugin in a box I’m sold!

Well, I love the space echo so the Galaxy is a winner for me. The starlight has a lot of options and is totally different honestly
@@coreycongilio Thank you!!!! I currently have the Golden and would like an echo, but I don't know which one to choose....I don't know if having more options is an advantage or a waste of time.

Doesn’t Boss make their own small form space echo pedal? Well, I know they do because I have one.
He’s being paid to review a UA product, not a Boss product.
@@PondoSinatra680 fair point, just pointing out the company that birthed the original makes two separate versions of the pedal, that you can still walk into a store and buy today.
Yep boss re-20 I sold mine not so long ago. Actually for a fair bit more than I bought it for prices have gone way up on it. I liked it except the reverb but I think it was true to the original. Re-202 would be better I'd say but I got a halo and love it.
@@smelltheglove2038 Yes of course we all know about the very recently released Boss pedals (both of them). Corey certainly knows about them. A direct comparison is suspiciously missing from this review. If I had to guess, I would say that since it’s UA’s money, they are controlling the narrative and they do not want to take the Pepsi challenge. I’m a cynical guy, though :) That Boss pedal is very good and alot cheaper.
