- In 1850, Anna Laetitia Waring (1820 - 1910) published a small volume of 19 hymns, including this one. She titled it Safety in God. Lordina the Soprano presents this reassuring hymn of Love, Trust and Peace in the tune “Penlan”, composed by a Welshman, David Jenkins (1849 - 1915).
"We are in unusual times; the whole world has been struck with fear and panic due to the Coronavirus pandemic, news of death all around us. The good news, however, is that God is still in charge of His world.
As we take the necessary precautions, let us channel all our fears and energy into PRAYER." - Lordina.

Trustfulness and Peace
1. In heavenly love abiding,
no change my heart shall fear;
and safe is such confiding,
for nothing changes here:
the storm may roar without me,
my heart may low be laid;
but God is round about me,
and can I be dismayed?
2. Wherever he may guide me,
no want shall turn me back;
