I am 62 and many comments I have seen on social media are from people over 50. I love GVF! What is it about these guys that appeal to us Boomers & X'rs? ❤
Jake asking if there is actually a garden at MSG is iconic. They come from such humble beginnings and you can tell when asked what they spend their money on, it’s more gear for their music. Great band, great guys, can’t see what they do next.
I'm 39 and often find myself listening to classic rock because I don't enjoy today's music. However, this is the band from the current era that I've started to listen to more and more.
They’re 4 adopted grandsons to me. Bringing 2 of my grandsons ages 14 and 18 to see GVF again in August at Mohegan Sun GVF had the honor of opening for Metallica earlier on in their now illustrious career Most deserving young highly talented artists Adore them all ❤❤❤❤❤
Not only do they SOUND amazing LIVE, but they work just as hard if not MORE than any of the bands they spoke about. Knowing the age, they sound so smart and well spoken. I'm really impressed. 😊
Jake’s “chicken fried” moment caught me so off guard. 🤣 Starcatcher is a fantastic album. I’m thankful I got to see the first three nights of their new tour. This interview gives me major FOMO for MSG. 😭
Just saw them at the Forum last night with my girlfriend and mother. This would be my 5th time seeing them in 4 different tours... They played the entire new album and still were able to sneak in some of their classics. I Couldn't believe they actually played "anthem" from The "March of the Peaceful army" album, and it was performed in an orchestra candle light setting. We were almost in tears. Such a refreshing band, comprised of inspiring and grounded individuals who are truly gifted. I love you GVF! The best to do it in the here & now. Keep up the amazing work .... PS , "Starcatcher" is an album that is meant to be experienced live.. In a live setting, it's their best one yet.
I'm so happy for GVF and their families. They are so talented and have it together. Nice guys. These guys are all so talented. I do especially love watching Jake. I believe he will be known as one of the top guitarist of his generation.
They seem so down to earth and sweet and genuine. I was on stage with Metallica for the Concert for Valor in DC in 2007(?). Metallica does a lot for military veterans like me. I was bouncing up and down on the rafters while they played. They spent half the concert looking at us. They are good dudes. xoxox!!
You can tell they're really excited to play at MSG, (Sam even went there specifically for the tour announcement 😂), it's surely an important milestone in their career! And yet no matter how far they go, they're still humble and beautiful human beings. I hope they will make a concert film for that show! Couldn't love them more ❤ P.s. I would have loved to hear about Sammy's garden! 🥺
I always think of the ‘master’ differently depending on my day but often I find myself thinking about the horses I work with. It’s not just the horses, it’s the relationships I’ve built there too. I’ve become particularly close with my trainer, she works so damn hard, seven days a week. The horses have us in some kind of chokehold, we will do anything for them and they teach us so much every single day. ‘Meeting The Master’ is just one of those songs that really makes you think and appreciate things a little more.
I’m barley catching up on this interview but I saw GVF in FW then 3 weeks later Metallica in Arlington I saw they will be playing together next year in Mexico City and I’m so tempted to book a flight and go!! 2 great phenomenal bands I think life would be complete
Think that's the best interview I've seen with GVF! No offense Josh and Danny. The guy knew them, asked great questions...Jake didn't say "interesting" 🤣...Sam is always hilarious. And of course, they both look great!
GVF are wonderful and unique. But Sam - if you don't want one of your pianos can I have first dibs? Always been one of my bucket list things. I can pay for shipping to Australia. To quote the Stones .....Weeeeeeeeeeeeee Love You.
Really hate it when DJ's try to answer questions they ask their guests by talking over them and we never really get to hear what they were about to say. Especially when their mics aren't up half as high as the DJ's.
I love how they have come into their own, Jake with the glasses all the time and Sam with the expensive clothes, love them. Danny and Josh need help with their hair though. Just saying
New album grows on me but why... why they didn't use the same producer than alst time? Cobb did a hack job. Compare that to last record how it breathes, while Starcatcher seems like it been produced in a box.
I m 61 and till now I never had a band with so many songs to like...over 40 I think, în fact all of their songs...for me is the best band ever.
They're like ancient beings from thousands of years ago.
Going to both shows in Brisbane 🇦🇺
I saw these guys in Houston. I am 67 and have seen all the good bands and these guys KILLED it. the best concert I have ever been too
Dammmmm

I was at that show. They blew it away!
I saw GVF at Musikfest in Bethlehem, PA, on August 1st. Awesome concert!

These guys are so great, best rock to come out in years!!
Watching them grow and getting comfortable in their talent and creativity makes me smile. They put on a fantastic live show!
Yes they are fantastic live! Saw them on the Dreams of Gold tour last year!
The Starcarcher tour is a live rock and roll concert the likes that the world hasn’t seen this century. Make a fuggin concert film of it.
They should!!!
a live concert DVD is needed!! the live versions of the Starcatcher songs are better than the studio takes..
My first show was fit in between this show on 9/12/23 and See Hear Now It was such an awesome experience Next in 25 days. So excited
Sam jumping in to defend his brother’s honour ❤✋🏻😭8:02
I know! Love it🥰🥰

Mother is a school teacher. r dad is a chemist,
Jake Kiszka singing Chicken Fried (the anthem of my childhood) makes my Alabama heart so happy!
GVF has gotta make a concert film at MSG! I am so fortunate to be young while these guys are growing! Excited for their years to come!
It’s so satisfying seeing these young talented and good looking men piss off all the jealous and insecure men online 😂

If Jake isn’t playing the harp on the next album…😤

They should! They did something similar with the Red Rocks arena in Colorado, and it was beautiful gift.
Best rock band in the 21st century!
Jake looks so healthy.

this makes sense because the concept of a master is something you feel dedicated to :)
I love how these guys mentioned “Song remains the same” and they were happy to joke about it instead of avoiding the LZ comparisons.
this was such a great interview
I'm 549 years old and this is the best band I've heard in the last 500 years.
Damn I love these guys sm it’s insane
I just love listening to them (any of the guys from GVF).
Guys those are literally my husbands

This is a great interview!!! The questions were interesting and loved hearing more about the album/tour from the guys!
I love how Jake wears his sunglasses indoors. I often do the same thing. :D
Hendersonville, NE of Nashville is kind of the Laurel Canyon of today. And it's not just country, it's all kinds of music.

they're still as chaotic as they were -- josh and danny's accidental flight to aruba is very typical of them
GVF @ MSG is a biggie. Hope it'll be filmed 🤞
Completely off topic, but who's got the nice boots in the back?

EXACTLY
were the band members' mics not on? Volume disparity was pretty severe
9:59 JAKE lmfao
Jake has 'interesting' speech patterns.
MSG
why is the gain so low on their mics? shouldn't the engineer be working this interview?
