Yes, when I was in kindergarten in Ukraine in the 90s I remember going out and playing in the snow just in my underwear with all the other kids. It's for the same reason, to improve our immune system. I don't recall ever feeling cold, scared, getting sick, or not wanting to do it. I've been briefly in South Korea in 1996, twice. I was going to live in Japan and, as an Italian citizen, my visa could only be processed from abroad and Seoul was the best option. I knew nothing about Korea and in those days we didn't even have mobile phone. Very very few people could speak English and I was offered a job as an English teacher almost instantly (blonde, blue eyes worked better than a passport then). I was impressed by the kindness of the people but unfortunately I really didn't know what to eat so I ended up eating easy take away food that I could point with my finger. Jimmy, you are showing us how to survive in Korea without spending an arm and a leg. Next, I would love to see other activities and accomodations with good food such as the Japanese ryokan, onsen (thermal bath), etc. One more thing, the sea looked beautiful from the window, where are the best places to swim? What do Koreans do during the holidays? Any good cycling routes to explore? Thank you!

Guys I'm a guy born in Seoul. Moved to Toronto Canada and ate korean food my whole life. I can promise u guys I eat everything. But this what jimmy plated is the healthiest plate u can ever fkin eat. And it's delicious. I promiseeeee u. Coming from a guy who eats Caribbean food, european, arabic, Middle Eastern food often! Literally have curry goat jerk chicken, Turkish food 10 15 times a month. Korean food is the healthiest thing. Even the anchovies. I PROMISR. GO TRY THEM.

It's so true, I used to eat just prawns and seafood when I was a teen but now I try a little bit of everything to enjoy the flavours
