    I think Normski is one of the best I have ever seen...Always been a fan...Wish he was in the Beat Street Battle scene...

    I think Normski was more iconic than even he recognised, the little duck waddle he did in the Buffalo Gals video, shapes he pulled for the cameras in that old RSC photo shoot footage, he was a real 3D Graf character come to life, he didn't need to do all that frantic mess, he could hit a pose and say it all

    You can tell Normski had a natural love for dance in general and not just hip-hop.

    I knew Normski back in the days..Very young and was ok at best..to me he would run his moves and switch off from Electric Boogie to some funny looking style of dance moves. Witch at times looked corny or made his look a bit gay. A lot of the serious dancers knew him. Most showed him love and other dismissed him because they saw him as a joke. Yeah he was down with Rocksteady but he fell off, mostly due to all of the fame that he was getting and it all going to his head. He didn’t pack much with his dancing and I don’t know what happened to him. Rocksteady went on to do major things and he just faded out. He always seemed like some happy kid that just wanna dance but I don’t think he was all that serious about it. Other wise he would had went on with Rocksteady as their fame grew.

      @shaolin1derpalm Před rokem +3

      Yeah he fell becoming a teacher and not dying, unlike Rocksteady, dealing and becoming addicted to coke, getting executed gangland style and revealing another's address to have them killed and all. What a sucker.

    Campest popping ever. Could partner up with ozone with that style lol. What he's wearing doesn't help. Oh well. We know he's dam awesome regardless of this strange performance.

      This was an old NY style called electric boogie. Like a bastardized version of west coast popping and locking. Kids taking what they saw from soul train and adding their own flavor to it. I totally understand how it would look wack to real poppers. Same way the early west coast breaking looked wack and soulless to us in NY.
