Her kick serve is great, but I would prefer MORE VARIERY in her second serve.... she uses it so much that the opponent is expecting it and can prepare accordingly...
I agree that she could add more variety, but because her kick serve is so good, she does not get in trouble too often.
She does a great job getting that ball out of her opponents strike zone, which makes her 2nd serve harder to attack. She wins over 50% of her second serve points (www.wtatennis.com/stats), which is one of higher numbers on the wta.
The fact that she has a high 2nd serve winning percentage is one of the reasons why she is so good at the moment.
I noticed in her trophy position, her shoulder is almost leveled, should it be tilted?
She does not have an extreme "tilt" where her right shoulder is lower, but it is probably a good amount. The idea is that when the right shoulder (dominant shoulder, so left shoulder for the lefties out there) is lower, you increase the distance it can accelerate up towards contact.
I would say she is in the normal range. Hope that helps!
Why she keeps racket above head
Keeping the racquet above her head prior to pushing upwards allows the racquet head to drop a longer distance.
Ideally, you want to find the sweet spot. If the distance is too long to drop, it will make it inefficient, if the distance is too short, you will not have time to accelerate properly. I think she has an excellent 2nd serve and a good first serve, but this is an area where she can make some improvements.
How about hinges and wrist
I didn't go into much detail on that, but do you have a particular question?
She does not hv phonebooth salute Trophy position
I can't say I have ever heard of the phone booth salute 🤔
