Do you have any tips to beat the clock on these? I don’t know why but I can never break 27 minutes on Weber spirits and spirit ii’s. That’s still 2 grills an hour, I’m not complaining but it would just be nice to get a little faster on these. After watching this video, I realize I build these very similar to how you do it.
I memorized where each part was as I unpack and just kind of assemble as I unpack. The most common thing I see others do that I don't is unpack everything first before they start the assembly process. To me it's time consuming and makes me feel like I'm touching everything twice. Assembling as I unpack minimizes the time spent touching the parts. There's that, and then just moving quickly. It's not the easiest thing to do but I have to be aware of how fast/slow I'm moving and constantly remind myself to move faster. Sometimes my mind gets off track and I start thinking about things other than the task at hand - I have to be conscious of what I'm doing "right here, right now" which allows me to move as quickly as possible. Every movement is important and having the voice in my head saying "quickly, quickly, quickly," helps me stay on track and GET SHIT DONE.

@@BenTheBuilder thanks for the advice. I’ll keep that in mind.
On the table, it looks like he had a screw left over.
That's the "extra hardware" that all Weber Spirits come with...
There's always a spare screw, washer, and cotter pin with every Spirit.
