@@PureRythmTrue that , a lot many brands need to consider India a serious market if they intend to survive. Especially , Jeep and Honda , they seem precariously close to a collapse . Hyundai-Kia have done an excellent job in terms of knowing what the typical Indian buyer wants , and offering those features in a broad range of trims accessible at different price points. Their cars are a lot better now in terms of safety too ( kudos to desh ka loha fanboys for bringing about this with their constant trolling ) , and the initial niggles concerning the TURBO-DCT engine gearbox combo have been sorted out. The car I drive is a 2019 Hyundai venue 1.0 Turbo DCT, and apart from regular maintenance there have been no issues with it. All in all , Hyundai-Kia have gotten into the shoes of Indians and looked at the market from a buyer’s perspective which has made them so successful over the years. VW and Skoda also need to rethink about the model line up in the Indian market , there’s so much more potential in various price Ranges from 25-50 lakhs. I know the R&D takes a hell lot of time and effort , and setting up an assembly line is a huge investment , but it will payoff for these brands once they launch a solid product, and it’s high time every manufacturer realises the potential in India.
It's not only Nissan Most of the Japanese companies, be it car or bike company, dump their old outdated products in India and we Indians become very happy that a Japanese company has brought products to India. Most recent example is the Yamaha R3.

you're absolutely right, this products by itself looks like it was launched without any RnD, the only explanation is that they had units unsold in some part of the world. But we nothing to worry for indian consumers, if tatas and mahindras have unsold inventory because of low value proposition, nissan will obviously sit right along.

I’hv seen a lot of xtrails, its boring and dated. Nonetheless, critics are essential for any business to flourish, implement changes creates a refined product which speaks for years to come. In short run you might not see any changes in your balance sheet but in the long run you ripe the fruit, the profits.

I’m really impressed with this Nissan This is really good Car in term of reliability I drove over 1k km on rent and perform very good in snow and cold weather. Fuel economy better than my sedan car. In India we have perception that Nissan does not make good car but it’s not true. I would say it’s perfect car.
People marketing these cars are here to earn quick money and leave. I’m sure no one looks up to them and will trust what they say. People like Gagan sir are here to build their own legacy out here. I may be wrong but this is what my heart says.

I’m really impressed with this Nissan This is really good Car in term of reliability I drove over 1k km on rent and perform very good in snow and cold weather. Fuel economy better than my sedan car. In India we have perception that Nissan does not make good car but it’s not true. I would say it’s perfect car.
