Traktor Remix Deck Legacy Mapping Issue

Trying to help another Traktor user with a Remix Deck mapping issue for Maschine.

what option is used to playing a "slot" on a "pad" and pressing again stops?
i'm trying mapping my akai lpd8 for the remix deck

Under the Add-In button, select Remix Deck -> Slot Capture/Trigger/Mute as probably the most useful mapping. Note that this will Mute the sample, not actually stop it. You can then combine this with the Slot Stop/Delete/Load from List mapping - but the risk here is that if you double press it, you will delete the sample, which is why the older use of this function would be with a SHIFT modifier to maker sure you were forcibly stopping the sample.
The new way is to use the Direct Slot Mapping.which at first only appears to give you access to the "Trigger" function, but you then combine this with the Capture modifier to let you use both Capture and Play.
In all cases, make sure you check the Assignment field, which I find needs to be set to the correct Remix Deck or Slot. In particular, with the Capture/Trigger/Mute inputs, I needed to select "Remix Deck 3 -> Slot 1" just to get the first slot working while testing for this reply. You then need to make a lot of duplicates to get it working for each pad!
