    I'm not worried. I hope he takes all the time he needs. The Celtics will be able to develop some of their other big men while Porzingis is out. They'll make the playoffs, and He'll be there for it.

I mean Horford at this point is more of a 24 minute half a game guy. Kornet is actually decent, but they need another guy. Are they keeping Tilman?

    Remember porzingas missed 25 games last regular season. The Celtics went 21-4 in those games. That's a 69 win pace. KP will miss about 25-30 games to start this season. They will be fine.

    He hobbled through Game 5 and was still somehow a factor on the court. Smith is right, we don’t care if he misses three or four months of regular season play because this team is so talented they’re going to make the playoffs of the locker room doesn’t turn on itself.
    As long as KP is at 100% and has kicked the rust off by next May everyone here in Boston is good.

      Someone didn’t watch any basketball this year. Literally unlocked their offense and was one of the best shot blockers in the league.
      Did you watch games 3 and 4 where KP didn’t play? Celtics barely won game 3 because luka decided to foul out, and then they got blown out in game 4.

    If I were the Celtics, I would take a shot at Jonas Valanciunas on a 2yr deal. He's durable, can hit the occasional 3pt shot, can get his shot from inside the 3pt line, and can score in the paint. He rebounds well and can challenge at the rim.

      JV at C with KP as a roamer seems like a killer lineup to deal with line-drivers or bigger teams, but Boston will have to compensate on perimeter defense. JV is not bad-bad, but he is not Al or KP when guarding in space.
