Wow, this looks interesting and extremely cheap. I had to discontinue playing saxophone many years ago but have been thinking about getting back into music and wondering if I could use my Yamaha WX-5 MIDI wind controller without causing myself jaw issues. This is cheaper than the MIDI over bluetooth dongle I'd need to get my WX-5 connected, and might actually suit my physical issues better.
Just perfect for orchestral bank !!
Thanks !!
Will this work for those vst tones with legato and portamento?
When you were recording drums, were you just blowing into it? Someone used to wind instruments would be tonguing, ie using their tongue to block air from going into the instrument, then release for a sudden attack.
can I use it with fl studio please?
As a sax player I wonder if this would be helpful with inputing ideas prior to actually recording with my sax...
As an ex sax player, I would advise spending more money and getting an option that is saxophone fingering. I've just seen a video on a Vangoa EWI-100, check that out, it costs more but looks like sax fingering.
I'm having difficulty connecting it via Bluetooth
It connects and then disconnects in 2 seconds. I'm using a 5.0 Bluetooth dongle to attempt the connection. Do you know what type of bluetpoth is your receiver? Many thanks!
I'm not completely sure other than using BLE. But it works well on my PC. It was a little unstable at first, but now it works like a charm. And the latency isn't too bad either. At least not on keyboards. But the wind instrument also has some latency because of the airflow. But this is the one I'm using amzn.to/3cSrO8B
can it connect with cable ?
Do you know what apps I can use with it on my android phone?
Try bandlab?
mpe funtions or Buttons ....or gyro...would be cool....
Yeah, I agree. I'm sure we'll see devices like that soon though
I am trying to make extensions. Stay tuned for a video soon....
If I can finally connect it to my pc LOL
No lag would be better...
kuult :)
Takk 😊
Midi via Bluetooth only?
Yeah. Unfortunately 😕
@@flundlipmuch latency?
Please in spanish too
Is this made by Konix?
It's made by a company called Carry-on Instruments. But very similar to the one from Konix
It’s almost identical
Apart from pitch it only sends ch1
Its made by Blackstar who put a Carry-On label on it.
Drums, you say...!? 🤣
