- Even with the range down, we're still working to bring you guys content. Levi was all like, "Hey, let's take a look at (and clear a few jams from) a Citadel Boss 25 12ga shotgun." And I was all, "Yeah, dawg! Let's do that!" And then our rubber dummy suffered for it. But, despite the overwhelming odds, we brought you another video. Because that's what we do. We...we do videos. Video doing is the doing that we do.

Picked one up at GT last week for 299. Good item, 1300 plus loads are recommended. 1500 pls loads you have to swap to a psi piston they provide in the box. IT Likes Lubricant and heavy loads.
Can't say for sure that this was the fix but I left the bolt locked opened for about 3 days in the safe. After that it ran 1200fps low brass birdshot. Thinking the compression took a bit of power out of the spring, ( left the mags loaded at the the same time) but It could have just been a fluke in timing. Got another Turkish shotgun currently going though its "safe break in" period right now to test the theory.
i think you are right - left my cheapo warthog open for about a week and works great with target loads
After I got mine and broke it in, about 250-300 rounds of the high brass, it shoots the cheap target loads no problem.
I haven't used a drum mag but using the regular 5, 9 and 10 round mags i never had one feed issue
Drum mags are useless and unreliable.
Every video I've watched today with drum shotgun mag all of them had malfunctions.
Just buying one of these now. I sure hope of works well without breaking my shoulder!!
Don't use slugs
I just went to the range and my experience with the Boss 25 was not good. You can read my experience in the comments.
I moved my fore grip back a little but u have to be careful because the buffer spring is in the hand guard and certain attachments will interfere with the buffer.
I hear that Ragaee music in the background "We Be Jammin"
I have one it was having cycling problems as firing 13 25 ft per second rounds I'd say probably it took about 50 rounds or so to break the spring in then after that it's been cycling fine but now it's starting to sound like a cash register opening
Every review I've seen thus far it jams like Bob Marley!!! How can I count on that thing to stop a bear?
I think the takeaway here is, well, you can't. Which always seems to be the case with the...more economic... firearms we review.
Have the boss and still waiting to see it's best performance .
Mine performed the exact same way. Constant cycling issues. I was using 1200 and 1600 buck shot. Don't use slugs
Did you clean and lube beforehand.
@@charleshammer2928 Unfortunately no I did not. Lesson learned
So what I mean by broke. The reload handle is floppy. The spring seems like it broke. It won't stay cocked all the way back. It's just FREE WILLY! But I have to say my experience with recoil was not as bad as I had anticipated. I braced too hard and when I let out the first round. It was much lighter. Well then again the first round was 1200fps. And my issues with the lose handle I felt started with the 1200fps shells. It completely broke with the 1600fps.
Someone told me if I use steel buck It will damage the barrel and the warranty will be voided is that true
I can't speak for the warranty. I'd check the owners manual. However, the shot cup around any kind of shot should prevent it from contacting the interior of the barrel. There shouldn't be any damage. Provided you aren't doing something strange like loading your own shells, any commercially available ammo should be fine.
Once you feed 25 rounds shes fine, theyl cycle easy
Steel shot is not to be used with this shotgun
$800 piece of junk
