Eric... Ojalá te salude algún día por la Calle. Mucho éxito.
    Go Loons !

I'd trade that ridiculous soccer stadium that raised taxes for the old Midway Shopping Center and Metro Transit center any day. Midway Pro Bowl, Foot Locker, Bosa Donut and Golden Gate Restaurant were more valuable IMO.

I couldn't disagree more. The stadium is TIF financed, but 100% Percent of building cost privately funded.
Is the stadium causing Gentrification? Maybe.
Is the stadium helping business around? Little... Nobody has jumped at doing music concerts there yet... Maybe we should open it for a few more soccer games,.. but the remodeling of the entire area is more than positive.. a bus warehouse and the liquor store can not possibly measure against Allianz Field

@@Enrique-ok2xu I appreciate your perspective, but it looks ridiculous at that intersection and the local homeowners have a tax burden. The team has tax-exempt status on the parcel once the stadium was built there.

@@Enrique-ok2xuIf it were in Eagan or some of the other proposed sites, it would make more sense. Not many in the Midway or Frog Town give 2 squirts about soccer.
