I am not a muslim i never wore hijab but i know how to dress so not a single man ever disrespected and not even my bf for a single moment and its 10 years of my relationship. He respect so much that he never ask me not wear this and that as he know how much self respect i have and he knows and respect my thoughts and boundries. Dresses are to express your thoughts or inner feelings and people should respect it as feeling good about yourself and feeling confident about your body is also a very important part of healthy life

Disclaimer:: It's just a perspective to see it so don't get offended...
The point u said it that muslim women should b respected because she wears hijab... I completely disagree... Everyone should b respected irrespective of it's dress code... A modern girl with shorts has same amount of dignity just like a lady in hijab... Both of them should b treated with utmost manners n respect..... Man is not allowed to touch, Or behave indecently no matter what she is wearing...

I wish i can wear hijab while going out but im not a muslim. I dont like when people especially men stare at me while walking on streets 😅 I think burkha nd hijab gives a sense of comfort.

Another misconception that my friends always ask me is, "Why there is a dresscode kind of thing for women only and not for men? This is discrimination". The fact is there is a dresscode for men too. Please spread some awareness on this topic also.

@@rubipanjiayar2068 True, I also felt the same way initially. The problem is not in the religion but the bringing up of people, who aren't taught about the equal rights by the parents. So I think fault lies in parents. They should teach to both, their sons n daughters, instead of only daughters and giving excessive freedom to their sons.

Everything is fine. But respect should be given to each n every girl as well as individual no matter what. Plus if a girl wear shorts or shows her hairs it doesn't mean anyone can talk to her in any manner.
