As a former career Stare Department employee, I was profoundly disappointed by the way the Department defended Sec. Clinton against criticism for her egregiously reckless personal mishandling of classified material. She jeopardized U.S. national security while flouting the very standards she demanded of everyone else. Had I done anything similar, I'd have immediately been reassigned to a job sorting unclassified mail at a state annex and tossed a fish once a day until fired for cause. I was even more appalled at the way she and her family allegedly enriched themselves through influence peddling while the rest of us were held to the highest ethical standards, including the scrupulous avoidance of any situation that might give rise to even the slightest appearance of a conflict of interest. We cannot have equal standing under the law if a different standard applies to Hillary Clinton than to everyone else.
