To help with the timing, I counted how many hits to inflict bleed, it goes like this for the Morning Star: 19/19/32/32/32/32 At the 32th of the last you must summon Torrent and run
A cool trick for early game pre-Godrick, but if you have already killed Godrick i recommend the farming spot that you can get to through varre's questline. Its faster and lower risk.
Not lower risk... if you don’t have exactly the right build it’s far higher risk. Bleed takes out greyoll pretty fast, and you can hide on her back left side from any danger while you do it. bleed albinaurics and mohg knights take you out early on in a hit or 2 with stunlock
In the spite of what some peoples have experienced, I can confirm that as of today, February the 13th of 2024, this glitch still works. I just did it today.

Most likely it's achieved by resting while the death animation is still playing and before the runes drop, which tricks the game into think that Greyoll isn't dead and needs to be restored to full health upon resting.
