- Here's one of if not the oldest truck Ware Disposal brought out to their first annual bulky item cleanup in one of their newly acquired residential contracts. Seen here is one of their 2002 CNG Volvo WXLL Amrep Hardox FLs. It is seen here collecting bulky items on the Wednesday route during the Wednesday Route Cleanup in South Whittier.
A huge thanks to the very friendly crew and to Ware Disposal for making this video possible! Thanks for watching and enjoy!
Date Filmed: July 28, 2018 in South Whittier, California.
Great video Kevin ! This truck is very entertaining . Glad this video was only about this truck. I wonder if this will ever do commercial down here but i doubt it. I wish it did tho . Can't wait to see more of your future WARE clean up .
Thanks! Hopefully it goes by you one day!

Nice video! I'm a little surprised they didn't rent a rear loader for South Whittier becasue of the huge trash piles but it seems like the FL did okay. I always find it interesting to see what people throw out and what the story is behind it like that huge Costco produce sign at 0:46 lol.
Thanks! Yeah I was surprised that they just used dumpsters. Hopefully this year around they could have some sort of carry can to make it easier to dump heavier items. Yeah theres always some interesting stuff being thrown away haha I've seen paintings being thrown away, trophies, and even a giant teddy bear haha.
They got it in!!!!
Yup!
Not running right, new fan belt, timing is ticking and hydraulic system needs oil, also truck revs to high when in idle
Yeah this truck is probably close to the end of its life since its already 17 years old.
Los Angeles Refuse do u know if they do the Monday route
Sounds like an oxygen sensor is bad and needs replaced.
@Los Angeles Refuse. Being in the UK and never having seen these 'front loading ' carts before, apart from yours and other US videos, are these so called curotto cans unique to your Country. Does the 'can' have to be a certain shape before it is called by that name, as the one on the front of that cart we would simply call an 'industrial size' wheelie bin. I presume the cab of the Volvo is made for the US Market as I've never seen one in our Country or Europe for that matter that looks like that.
Thanks for stopping by! Yeah the curroto can is a unique thing for the US. The term "Curroto" comes from the Curroto Family who developed the Curroto Can. And the Volvo cab on this truck is a US model but there are other Volvo trucks in various other countries.
Why is that Engine surging?
Old truck on its last legs
@@succulentflakesofperfectly5541 : Put him out of his misery!!! ⚰️
The truck itself is a 2002 so pretty old and I believe it was converted from Diesel to CNG.
did any of that go for recyling or did it all go to landfill
It goes to the MRF then off to the landfill.
0:34 why is this front loader 🗑 truck carrying the dumpster can with 4 wheels?
