I'm trying to learn how to use Lucario and from watching this is what I could gather:
1: Neutral B is your friend
2: Just because you are at 0 doesn't mean you can't kill yet
3: Juggles and combos are great at low percents
4: B reverses are important for mix ups
Add some more here if you have any tips
Nair to approach and start up juggles. I typically use landing nair to fair, jump fair, nair/up air (depends on the position).
If landing nair misses, then up tilt then fair, fair, nair/up air.
Personally I like to use Jab out of landing nair. Mainly as a mix up of landing nair to grab. At high percents landing nair to force palm because nervous opponents love to hold that shield. Also I don’t know the technical term, but kind of the opposite of a B reverse. I just call it a reverse B lol. Instead of pressing special then changing directions to reverse your momentum, you change directions then special input special right after to turn but keep your momentum. You see Tsu use it as a fantastic way to pressure his opponents with his medium to high aura. Hope this helps a fellow Lucario main :)
Down air is your friend, it actually works for everything, it kills, it starts combo, it edguards, it defends your landing, even can stop a bit your fall so that smash attack wont hit u
Before smash attacking someone on the ground, jab lock them once, or else they can get away, or use aura sphere, its safer than a smash attack

Tbh a good strategy for fighting lucario mains is just aiming for the time when he starts charging aura sphere and take advantage whether you land an attack or not it'll give you some type of flow that you can capitalize on

At 7:18, was Aura Sphere fully charged? He was able to move instantly after landing. I didn't see a shield cancel.

F T no it’s a new tech, you can press jump right when you’re landing to cancel landing lag which lets you act out of landing charge specials instantly
