How does the same boat with a Yamaha 70hp perform? I saw one, price wise fits my budget. . Would I have any problem towing a skier or tube?

      Hi Jack,
This 80hp Mercury is a 2.1 Litre engine where as the Capacity of the Yamaha 70hp Drops down to 1.2L, giving it significantly less Grunt than the Mercury 80hp.
We have no performance data with a engine of that size on one of these vessels and whilst it will go, you may find it a bit sluggish especially for towing or skiing.
We have a New Stacer 499 Wild rider with an 80hp Mercury arriving in August this year, we have not worked out pricing yet on this boat, however it will be in the vicinity of 40k.
If this is of interest and you're located in WA, Please give us a call on (08) 9309 2888 or email sales@hitechmarine.com.au :)
