- It would not work on this one. So I talked to the owner and he said just put it back together.

These kits are fine, but you do need to check the shackle bushings. Some have steel tube inserts, some have thicker bushings. You don't want to drill out the holes on the straps or you'll weaken them.
Longer shocks are needed. Factory are commonly too short. If they have been changed in their lifetime, then they likely would be longer.
It isn't a bad kit, but you needed some more parts to work with it.
Worked fine on my 94 SDX 4WD.
What shocks would you recomend?
This same kit worked great on my 94 acty real-time 4wd
I watched a different video of a guy mounting it "correctly"?
If it's wrong it still worked
He mounted both strut plates underneath the cabin, then reamed out the hole in the cab to get a socket on the bolt.
At the aft end he disconnected the shocks, put the spacers in, then slowly loaded the springs until the mounts for the shocks got back in.
Anyway, I'm about to do all this to my acty, I'll see how messed up the cv joint is, but I think once the weight is back on the springs it'll mellow out
I was so worried about the rear CV joints being at the max angle. The owner did not want me to ream out the strut towers.
If you got the muddy bottom kit. They come with new bushings
Also you do need to cut a slit into the Honda acty for the adjustment bolt. I can send a photo if you’d like
@@myfakeevosend for me ty
@@myfakeevoI wanna lift my 92 acty but idk what kit to get , some say just spacers some say spacers and spring n shocks 😢😢..would Like some info plz 🙏🏽
@@joeroe2839I went with muddy bottom. It stiffened everything right up. The only downside is it puts a lot more stress on the cv shafts. I personally think putting proper shocks and springs will lift the truck up a half inch. And maybe that’s good enough. I think getting just the spacers is a terrible idea cause the stock shocks and springs are awful.
This lift kit will work perfectly with the mid engine models like Daihatsu, Mitsubishi and Suzuki...
CZcams shows me goofy ah truck. Anyways I just pretend that know what you’re saying
dude you have to do more than just jack it up and talk about it lol
Here's another one that only watches1:00 minute of a video and then bitches.
