Sorry rachel. I can feel your pain. I remember crying my eyes out when my pet gold fish died. I had 6 of em I bought the 3rd and the 4th gold fish from another shop and unfortunately they had disease that spread to the rest of my goldfish and the aquatic plant that I unfortunately bought from that shop also turned out to be affecting the filter. I remember crying and cussing myself out. I couldn6get myself to bury them so my parents did that for me but after some days I was fine and put flowers on their resting place. My cousins called me crazy for doing this but I guess it was my way of dealing with death when I was 14. I am 18 now and I don't think it was too much. I still miss them 💜
Losing any animal is always hard. I’m sure you and your family gave Molly a good life. She’s flying free now and watching over you 💛

As a roommate of a parrot owner, I can also guess that you & your family may have shared a very close bond with her... parrots are special animals and we expect them to be with us for life. So sad to hear that she's gone before her time.

Man i feel the same way. I just finished all my prerequisites for my BSN program (i was unemployed and school was online) which i really liked now i got a job and started in person classes and clinicals and feel this sudden burst of energy every day. Like I actually have a small impact on the world and other peoples days. I haven’t felt this way since my 11th grade year of HS bc thats the last time i had to go to classes in person. My 12th grade year was interrupted by dual enrollment where i was at the campus all day and kept to my self or COVID where i stayed home all day. The the following year was university online.

I saw a tik tok about this girl who was in 6th grade when covid started and she'll be going into high school next year. It made me think about the fact that you were a first year when covid started and you'll be a fourth year next year... time flies it's so crazy

I’m sorry for your loss Rachel, my pup zoey who I had for 11 years since she was a pup died a couple years back from diabetes… the pain is really like a loss of a loved one. I will keep you and your family in my prayers, remember the sweet moments ❤️🙏🏻

I've seen a few of your vids and just been so in awe of your energy and dedication to getting through. This one in particular really resonated with me. We lost our dog recently and...it just kinda sucks. But you gotta keep goin coz what else are you supposed to do. I’m so sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine how difficult it must be to lose a pet that you’ve loved and cared for-for so long. I have a question about another topic you brought up. Pap smear. I have been a nurse for years and now I’m currently a Med1 student. The female repro system has always been my “kryptonite”. Lol I get queasy just talking about it and have gotten faint even talking about menstruation. I dread OBGYN rotation. I can’t let this one subject deter me from becoming a doctor. Any advice? What is your weaknesses and how do you cope?

Losing a pet is losing a family member. Even though years have passed, I still miss my canary who lived to be 10 1/2 years old. To have a creature in your life for that long or even longer as parrots live much longer, they become a part of your life and in a way of yourself.
