really good explanation of the process, and, I love the use of GROUND vehicles, I havent seen, nor even thought about that, really. Excellent idea. In fact, I didnt even know the one HAD a gun rack by the seat.

Cool place to get ton of weapons and armors. My next video will be a Guide to Whistler's Crypt and next one a gameplay on how I use my Ursa there :)
I spoke with a couple of CIG devs about this in-person. They told me that It isn’t an attempt at creating weapon insurance and that it is a bug that (might) lead to a partial wipe
@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS Maybe it helps to destroy the vehicle and claim it. @ollie43 has a Mule that always spawns with drug-packets on it. But he can move and sell them. Maybe worth a try?
I don't believe they will since they just patched out the exploit where using a repair system your ship acts like a weapon store for guns that are part of your ship. In 3.19.1 they removed that option, if they intend to remove this feature, they would done it in 3.19.1. I think this is a temporary solution for people who loose their guns due to numerous bugs like 30k's or ship explosions because of invisible asteroids and similar reasons.
Try again by leaving the armistice zone, place the weapons inside the gun racks, return to station, store the ship etc...it should work except maybe Cutlass Black has some sort of a gun rack bug.
I have a prospector, it aways lose his model or cargo bay, here is a question, when 30k happened , and I call back my ship , the cargo bay will lose, if I go 30k protection, I lose model, some components just disappeared for no reason
Hmm, not sure why this happens to you. Usually when I reclaim my ship, all the components remain in my reclaimed ship. Maybe is your time server desync. Try this. Go to windows, then "adjust date/time" You have "sync" option under synchronize the clock. Press Sync and return to game. This solved my problems with Vehicle Loadout Manager and ship components.
Good explanation, but this is no insurance but an exploit! It's also being used to replicate drugs on a mule and u better don't get caught by CIG doing that 😉
Unfortunately yes, there are people that exploit this "feature" or bug. I am using this only if I loose my armor or weapon during a game bugs. I really don't have any intentions to replicate stuff or drugs since that is not a "fair play". We actually have a way to bring back pledged armor and weapons and I am afraid we will loose that because of these massive exploits!
@@LORDV4DERONP1LLS I wasn't judging but people should be aware that this is not actually a legal way to "insure" items and the more people use this to replicate items the more likely we will get another item wipe

I can't remove the video since that would hurt the channel, same thing with changing the title name of the video. These are not recommended thing to do on published videos. You can always read the comments since there was a few question about this topic. Again I am sorry for this but regarding how often things change in Star Citizen I would need to constantly change titles and descriptions of any old videos. No one does that! But I can leave a pinned comment where I will explain that this is nerfed! Thanks for the suggestion and I am sorry that you have unsubscribed. Yeah, we all knew that this will not survive for long. Unfortunately people exploiting this too much so yeah, some sort of a wipe is indeed needed.

CIG patched the duplication bug. But items already stored with a vehicle remain. So this will take time to be resolved.
Yeah, tried that just yesterday. My guns are still in gun racks but I can't pick them up!

Yes, every ground vehicle which have a gun rack will work.
I cant retrieve my guns back from the hack. Didn't work in my case
They probably fix that or it is some kind of a bug. Try to self destruct a vehicle and reclaim again.

I tried doing this with my Cutty Black and it didn't work, but I didn't store my guns in the racks outside Armistice.

ok, thanks. I assume that this is part of a bug or error, because when the vehicle explodes the content that was in it should disappear.
Probably a bug which will be fixed in next patch.

Maybe they removed "repair" option. Try to reclaim your ship, if the guns are inside the it still works.

Not sure, but I think it still works...they patched out a "repair" option where you can multiply your guns fast. I think "insurance" still work.

I believe it does. I spawned my ship yesterday and my weapons was in gun racks.
