@MysteryoftheGods It's been a year now since I moved to ft collins, I didn't like it at the beginning because of the snow but It is amazing in the summer. I really love..
@MysteryoftheGods So I grew up in Michigan and moved to several places in the country. I moved to Fort Collins and can tell you that it is amazing. It was ranked 3 years in a row as the best place in the US. I live in Denver, which has its advantages, but I miss Fort Collins so much! If your thinking about moving there do it. But make sure you understand the job market of the area (if your in IT or the restaurant industry than your golden)

I was born in FoCo in 1952. Family had businesses there, restaurants, bars etc. Moved away after returning from Viet Nam. I won't even go there anymore. It's become a disgusting place very much like Boulder. Considered exhuming my family and moving them else where. Most were buried in caskets with one cremated. I'm sure they have all rolled over in their graves.

I am a student at CSU and love Fort Collins. The pros are well highlighted in the video, but I would also include that the cost of living is much less than Boulder or Denver. Also, it is relatively undiscovered, so a nature hike actually includes nature. I went hiking in Boulder recently and I saw more people than I would at a mall. Cons would be that the entire city does not look like this video. While there are many pretty homes and beautiful areas, many of the homes will not win any awards
raleighman3000 language is ever-changing. If you compared the way people talk now with the 80’s, 90’s, or even early 2000’s, it’s all different. Always new trends and expressions and ways of speaking. Nobody says “knock it off!” Or “dork” or “golly” anymore. What you hate now may be gone in a decade or two.

wow the weather looks nice in this video but you only get that for about 3 months out of the year tops there is snow and cold and ice so this video can be misleading

I moved here from Northern California and wouldn’t move back. Love this area! Great people and lots of sun year around. Not too much snow ( it melts quickly because of the sunshine at 5000 ft). Lots to do.
I watched this video with a lot of pleasant memories as I used to work a company named Teledyne Water Pik for 20 years.

I spent a couple years there...it's a beer drinkers paradise. Low taxes and concealed carry are a big plus too.

The Simmons family (my family) are the descendants of Moses Collins, the person that Fort Collins is named after.

So since no one responded to that... Do you have an answer yet? I'd like to know too.
I’d advise white water rafting, mountain biking, and the other outdoor activities that make this area famous.
Going to High school
hope to land the job over there!
nice.
Are there any biomedical engineering related jobs in Fort Collins? This is my dream town, and that's my major.

Rocky Mountain High you’d get more subscribers if you actually responded and didn’t use copy and pasted responses for everyone.

@alexhemker When did "So" replace "Well" when starting a sentence? 10 years ago no one did that, now its like a virus.
