I agree it was a horrible embarkation. I’ve never been in cruise terminal where employees where not present welcoming you and directing you to the next station or which way to go. I was shocked when no one welcomed you guys onboard and then changed your rooms without notifying you. I’m glad you guys were able to push thru and enjoy your vacation.
I have a feeling the cruise line used the corona excuse for everything. From the hours and hours of videos I've seen of cruise line reviews, MSC is one of those oddballs: it's always "hit or miss." Some days they're so good that Royal Caribbean should be very worried. Other days, they stink worse than a wet dumpster in the Texas afternoon!
We passed you and your family waiting at your door. You were very patient and friendly despite circumstances. Great example for the kiddos. Hope you enjoyed the rest of the cruise despite the trouble.
This is not the first report I have seen on MSC that tells me "nope." I've been on three cruises this year and in ever case I was on the ship within fifteen minutes of starting to check in. Kudos to two very well behaved children.
One thing that I recently learned is the MSC Cruises parent company is one of the largest container shipping companies in the world. So, I guess it makes sense that their customer service skills are at 0, because the containers never complain! lol

Initially seeing your headline I assumed that it was just clickbait to get more views but I learned a good lesson. It appears that you and your family DID have a horrible embarkation experience. I would like to congratulate you and your family for handling it so well. Not sure my husband would have been as calm. Great video. You got another subscriber. :)

I could feel your frustration through the whole video. You made it clear that I better pack my patience. I'm considering booking the Seashore immediately following my sailing on Norwegian Prima. Great video.... it's good to see....when things don't go well.....sometimes it aint all going to workout well....even on vacation. Yall handled it very well....I know some folks would have been screaming and shouting. Yall wasn't even greeted well when you finally got to the ship.. .and then yall got the wrong room it's too much....thank goodness they got your bags together. 🤗 The energy was high....yall was ready....for a vacation and I felt it. 🌴
Wow! That’s ridiculous! Cruised out of Baltimore on Carnival last week. We were on the ship in 45 minutes. We were greeted & celebrated from arrival. Ate lunch & explored the ship. Our bags were at our door when we finished. I’ve heard too many bad things about MSC to cross it off my list. Good video! Thank you! ❤️xoxo❤️

I have been in MSC before 3 times, no complaints at all, smooth cruising from the beginning, all out of Miami. Seashore is a new cruise with new technology, it might be the employees were no ready for the new system. Thank you so much for sharing. You have 2 beautiful, smart and well behaved girls. 🥰

Wow! I've had great experiences with MSC, but I have to agree that your embarkation experience was frustrating! I got frustrated just from watching, especially 'cause I really want you guys to enjoy your MSC experience! Thanks for showing the real deal details! Let me tell you though, once you guys got into the RIGHT room... lol... I loved the vibe, and I could feel you guys starting to unwind... I literally laughed out loud after "How did she get here, Royce? She knocked on the door!" 😂😂 I hope the rest of the cruise was great!

Omg I couldn’t believe how hard it was to board. The thing that took the cake, is when you all were not greeted when u all boarded. I don’t think I ever seen that on a cruise. Absolutely Ridiculous!

My adult kids and I just did Carnival Cruise 1115/21-11/20/21. We all did our rapid test 24-48 hrs before. Was on ship in less than an hour. I feel so bad that your family went thru all that. I thought about a MSC cruise for us. So glad we didn't. Kudos to you for patience 👏

We left on the Meraviglia same day. Our embarkation was as long as yours. But we had a couple of people along the route guide us and they were handing out wristbands at the gangway. A little spicy water later and everything was great!

Rich and Jazzy, you two should be given a medal for your patience. Way to stay positive. I will say that even before covid I sailed on MSC and did not have the best experience. I have been trying to decide whether to give them another chance. I will watch the rest of this vlog series before I make that decision.

I am so sorry about your embarkation process with MSC (LORD please help us in January 2022), room tour was nice. Question, how much time did you actually spend in your room? I would love to watch the sunrise & sunset....
As for spending time on the balcony it was pretty much minimal, balcony is kind of a waste for us because we don’t sit out there much but that’s just us.

I'm older and just glad that in these covid times, I don't usually travel with children anymore. I give you two credit that you know the rules, what you need, and you do what you need to do as efficiently as the system will let you do it. I totally agree that MSC needs a more efficient system for checking in passengers.
I learned so much from you guys with MSC. they really need to get it together because this is really a beautiful ship. the organization is messy for the cruise line though. 😢 thank you for your hard work!!!!!! cheers!

We just took a Royal cruise over thanksgiving and it took us about 3 hours from the time we got to the port until we got on the ship.

WOWWW! I was frustrated for you! Good grief that was painful to watch, I can't imagine being there. It's not a new cruise line so the processes are unacceptable and unreasonable. I hope they were able to grant some accommodations for the extreme inconveniences. My Karen definitely would have activated LOL. I haven't heard great things about MSC so I'm going to watch as you post and think about it some more. There is a lot of competition out there so they need to step their game up.
They didn’t give anything extra for that but hopefully it’s being improved for other families going forward. Thank you so much Karen!

My embarkation on Seashore on 11/27 took almost 4 hrs. We got no lunch and no buffet food until they said safety briefing was done...dinner time. Worst embarkation ever. Probably worst cruise line of all...MSC...Then missed a port stop and got back to port late, disembarked 4 hrs late and had to cancel a second cruise because couldn't make it...no compensation from MSC.
Wow that’s terrible. We had an excursion leave us. We have a video coming about that too smh

We spend 3 hours outside on the sun because they are remodeling the terminal . Awful and lots of issues, but the cruise experience was great and we made lots of friends

Hi Rich, Jazzy, Reign and Royce. I’m late but Happy Belated Thanksgiving. MSC🤔. I haven’t heard nice things about MSC but their ships are so beautiful. Looking forward to hearing your options. Reading the fine print and correctly is imperative. Antigen and PCR 2 different test. Surprised they didn’t email the results or send it to the app. 3 hrs and 15 min and you guys were in group 2. They should know if you made it that far your covid test was negative. Could someone sneak and get that far. 🤷🏻♀️. Reign is leading the way. It’s desolate. No one directing. Wow. Guess that ship is sailing late. Wait. The keys aren’t working? Omg. Wait. The luggage got to the room before you guys did. 🤦♀️. But wait. When you check in and they give you your keys, don’t they confirm the keys and the room number and the app? 🤷🏻♀️🤦♀️. So now if the 9222 room was assigned to someone else, they gotta clean it. Reign did notice only 2 towels. Rich your mum is young and beautiful. You guys are a beautiful family. To me, the drink package should cover what’s in the fridge. The interior of the draws look clean. 1/2&1/2 is a whole. 🤣. New ship new drama. Looking forward to the future Vlogs on this ship. Have a good first night on the ship. See you next video.

Just found you guys, love your vlogs! When housekeeping let them in, I noticed in the video there were other bags already there, clearly from the actual guest staying in 9222. I would have been livid knowing if housekeeping/guest services would of let someone in my cabin without double-checking the reservation, and proper cabin number! How is this happening on MSC in 2021, I know I know, technology isn't always reliable, but man oh man! You all did great keeping your cool!

I cruise MSC Meraviglia this pass September ( Solo ) and check in was about 20 from the time I got there. Its a beautiful ship and I loved the Cigar Lounge. I'm thinking about the Seashore next, balcony prices are reasonable
Wow 20 mins is amazing, we know they have been embarking from Miami since sept so we don’t know what went wrong with our sailing. We say give them a try, the problems we had won’t be everyone’s problem
