So glad Boomer's had time to shine in this season. She's such a wonderful character who deserves all the love in the world.
there needs to be more, shes the only original cast member who hasnt truly had a arc of their own. She tried getting knocked up during conjugial once? Cant remember past those few episodes

I find Boomer to be pretty entertaining, at least as the comic relief. She wasn't even that "stupid" in S1, she picked up on things much quicker. I think she's necessary in a lot ways, but it'd be out of place to give her character too much serious attention. Am I the only one who thinks this act of kindness by Sonia is extremely out of character??? Sonia was never that genuinely nice and she was happy to use Boomer. Can't see her being this generous at all tbh.
Sonia'$ intent was to use Boomer as everyone else. For protection. Then when it came time for publicity, she claimed Boomer was one of the 'slow', disabled ones she was helping. So Boomer got taken advantage of by Sonia. If Ruby and Allie didn't help her study, she wouldn't even tried for the test. Honestly I'm unsure why WW would dumb down a character from season 1. It's not as if they still can't make "comic relief". Boomer has been used by Franky and others as a "strongarm" and that is it. Which is why i was glad when Booms used the money she was supposed to be holding for Franky. Then Franky went and shagged Gambaro for it. Franky was always setting up others (Jodie, everyone) to take the fall. An idiot like that would have never lasted. Prison is rum by lifers who don't give a shit, not fake pregnant lesbians who look "pretty" to sell sex to male viewers.
Boomer to me was the one player that absolutely deserved an award for her entire performance. I feel she was so overlooked. She was absolutely brilliant in her performance throughout.
And Katrina is such a beautiful person inside and out too. She was so amazing and friendly.
Tbh i didn't cry when franky got out but i cried when boomer realized that sonia did something for her , it's really horrible that the only person that did something for you is dead....
Right? I love how this show really makes you question your morals. On one hand, Sonia was an evil, manipulative murderer but on the other hand, she did this super nice thing for Boomer.

I've always liked Boomer. What could easily have been a one-dimensional character is totally brought to life with a nuanced, emotionally-driven performance by Katrina Milosevic. She's an outstanding actor.
Boomer was my favorite and one of the best humans in there. I was so happy for her. And hoped she d end well like Doreen.

I agree Ciara. But because Kaz is like this...I can't see how she has lasted as Top Dog for so long. Realistically someone should've bashed her by now... She has been a really disappointing Top Dog, and didn't seem to work for that spot at all (unlike Jacs, Franky, Bea, Joan). I hope this is her turning point.

I've always been confused by this. At the end of season 3 Franky gave boomer a box that had info to knock time off of her sentence, and she even had a court date for the appeal. Then nothing was ever said again about it. Now Sonia's lawyer is getting her time off of her sentence. Did her appeal the first time not work? Or did it only give her a little time off her sentence, and that's why Sonia hired her lawyer for Boomer?

Chris C. If you did not want spoilers as you had not watched episode 9 yet you should not have clicked on an episode called inside episode 10. Which was 100% sure to have stuff on episode 10 in the video and spoilers for those had nor wat he'd episode 9 in it. I am not being rude or horrible just staring something so obvious.
I hope boomer gets out but still some how stays on the show for the final season as boomer is one of my favorites

Rita is a member of the Conquerors, a Biker Gang, like the character Rita Connors from Prisoner on which she is based.she reveals Allie that she is actually Ruby's sister, and asks her to check that she does not get involved into fights or problems which could cause a prolonging of her sentence. She also reveals Novak that Mitchell's nervous disease was caused by a dramatic car accident Rita is Ruby Mitchell's sister, and she got herself arrested just to help her. It is revealed as well that 'Rita Connors' is not her real name. After Mitchell severely beats Spike Baxter in the showers, Connors takes the blame in order to protect her, and is therefore heavily punished by Kaz.

Where's Joan's goodbye interview? Jo Porter, please confirm for Joan fans before the WW ship completely sinks. Unless you plan on bringing her back, which is highly doubtful at this point. Many have already dropped WW to follow Rabe's activities elsewhere, a wise decision. Rabe doesn't use her fans, WW does.

That wasn't true what you said, the ratings for season 6 and 7 are higher than the ones for season 5.
