  • All natural made waterfall.
Easy to do at low cost.
    1. I collected some stones in the morning
    2. I bought some items
    ----Pomp + hose------4 USD
    ----small pebbles-----2 USD
    ----wood ----------------1 USD
    ----bowl ------------------3 USD
    ---stones----free
    ---plants----free from the garden
For the plants I use small plants
    1.Fern moss
    2.Tree moss
    3.Sedum lineare
    Rocks
Where I live are a lot of sedimentary rocks, rocks made of sediments.
I used shale as waterfall steps because they are flat and brake in sheets.
At the back I used two big pieces of sandstone to add contrast in color and texture.
It's important to look in proportions also I started layering the steps with bigger stones at the top the smaller ones.
The main idea is to think 'how does it look in nature' and try to mimic that.
I added the wood in a way as if it had fallen down for awhile.
Remember scenery is almost never symmetrical in nature so don't try to do that if you go for a natural look.
Usually in nature there are no straight lines therefore I tried to avoid stones with straight cuts as much as possible.
Look at it as a big puzzle and see how the pieces fit and take your time.
For this project I spend about 4 hours total.
I changed the set up many times until I was satisfied with the natural look I was going for.
Its important to use small plants species in order to create a sense of scale.
