I loved Della and Huey’s bonding in this episode, along with Louie and Goldie’s
It's minecraft with leagen of zelda mixed in
Della and huey spending time together and louie and Goldie spending time together a big family getting along
The Goldie and Louie bonding in the episode was nice but nothing was more satisfying than seeing Doofus Drake lose everything! :D
I'm glad Mark Beaks used a robot, for a moment i thought he was a clone.
Still fun too

Either way, I think Goldie does indeed do the things she does for attention. As far as we know, she had no family. And the only people who matter to her and vice-versa are Scoorge and now Luey.
She is a scammer but also a very useful ally

Huey's Power Level is... OVER 9000!!!!!!
Thing is, that's about the only noteworthy part of that plot.
yeah It was more like a filler and the armor was only used for the trailer.
There was not any particular moral or something very interesting and the idea of Huey be the "farming player" was mostly boring and force the entire scenario be in one place. There weren't any good jokes if not for the DBZ reference.
Also there weren't any connection with the main plot so it was there just for filling up.
The only other noteworthy thing about that B plot was that it involved some Della and Huey bonding.
Goldie still needs to find more gold, because she's not the richest duck in the world yet.

Sadly, a later episode has Louie go right back to trying to cheat (or "angle" as he puts it) his way into getting rich. In a way that almost destroys the fabric of existence
He learned partially in this episode, and learned more in the next batch of episodes.
It would be unrealistic for Louie (specifically) to change completely from only one (or five) situations. 1, he's stubborn, 2, he's a kid, and 3, it's the only thing he thinks he's good at.

I guess Goldie has a literally has a heart of gold after all and draks tree house falls down to the ground and no won well date or look ate mark beaks
I think Goldie just likes the life and thrill of being a thief the same way that Scroodge likes the thrill of adventuring. I would love it if it's revealed that because of the way she lives her life, Goldie doesn't have any roots or a place to call home. She likely has made so many enemies over the years, she always has to look over her shoulder because of people who hold a grudge and try to take back what she stole. Scroodge is probably the closest thing she has to a relationship. She knows he'll be okay and no one would try to get to her through him but even then their relationship isn't stable. Louie could discover this and finally realize that while getting rich through her means might be quick, maintaining and keeping it all is an exhausting struggle. Maybe one that she's accepted but not one that he can.
I need some more Goldie and Scrooge episodes, they always turn into my favourite ones. Plus, there's a ton of unknown, but maybe important questions about Goldie that we don't know like:
-where's her family?
-who's her family?
-does she actually have feelings for Scrooge, or is just playing him over and over again to get what she wants? (I lowkey hope she does because they have a very interesting and fun chemistry, and Goldie kinda just seems alone considering the lack of family and loved ones that she's shown so far)

For some dumb@$$ reason, Doofus was given straight up the totality of a his grandmother's vast fortune. The laws on inheritance must be really broken to let a child, with LIVING parents who would honestly win any challenge to their fitness as parents, with clear mental issues, to take control of that fortune BEFORE adulthood or at least the "age of inclusion".

I'm going to say this not many CZcamsr's can get me to rewatch their videos over and over again. You are one of them. This cheered me up after a horrible day at work, bravo. :-D
So my theory is that Goldie doesn't even care about the gold. It is the thrill of the scheme that she loves. Of being the smartest, the sharpest. But at this point she also understands how much it has cost her. That as she looked back at McDuck manor she had a vision, one she's had many times over the years, of what her life could have been had she finally learned to be satisfied. Married to Scrooge. A family. Stability.
Instead the only man she ever cared for reacts to her arrival with dread. And now Louie will never trust her either.
Just look at everyone else in the episode. Doofus and his family got a new brother. Louie and Scrooge are bonding. Same with Della and Huey. And Goldie?
She's all alone. She got all that money... and it wasn't worth it.
But she can never stop. Not now. Because she's burned every bridge.
You might be onto something when it comes to Goldie. It’s entirely possible that she’s at the point in which trying to get all those riches just about the thrill of getting it/keeping it.
I mean she got that large amount of gold from white agony plane so why isn’t she considered one of the richest ducks in the world?

1:56 Technically, Nothing Can Stop Della Duck counts as half of a bonding episode. Louie has accepted Della into his life as his mom, but Della has a whole week of episodes to accept Louie and his scheming ways.

Doofus is about the only character I genuinely hate in this reboot. At least Mark Beaks is an actually decent villain, Doofus is just not fun to watch.
I agree with you about Goldie wanting a family. I think she wants riches and a family and is jealous that Scrooge has both

The later episode with BOYD retconned his origin pretty oddly, it makes no sense he looks so much like Beakes but wasn’t made by Beakes.

Maybe Goldie needs money for the orphanages of miners' orphans to support the children who have lost their parents in mining accidents. At least that's the explanation in the Barks' comic "Back to Klondike" why she's penniless and bankrupt. So in 2017 Ducktales, she could be a kind of Robin Hood. Is it a good theory?

I think the reason Doofus doesn’t work is they keep writing the perfect scripts for a redemption arc for him but they keep him in the villain role.

Yes I know that, but it was just an idea.
I mean if we're correct F.O.W.L. has seemed to have gone quite for all these years until now. So that means Goldie could have just been stealing gold for herself, but here is the problem now we face is that when did F.O.W.L come back online again? I mean sure we saw them at the end of season 2 but how long have F.O.W.L. been active? Since the shadow war? The start of the moon invasion?
Besides it's already been confirmed that we're gonna get more F.O.W.L. Agents when the show comes back, but the question is are we just strictly getting new ones or are we seing the same characters in a different perspective?

Yes she was, but we don't know who to trust anymore. So expect the unexpected.
Besides in the harp episode Mrs. Beakly promised she wouldn't lie to Webby anymore and the harp did say she was fibbing.
Some may say that it could've just been Beakly keeping her grandaughter safe but what if it's just not that? Besides we've seen hints to the idea of Webby's parents.

Besides I'm speculating what if this isn't just a Huey season? What if this is also the Webby season and where she learns the hard truth of her parents.

The way you skipped the B plot honestly kind of bothered me.
It's ok if you don't go too in depth with that part of the episode, but going "eh, who cares?" as if it was just Della and Huey playing for a few minutes? Come on, dude....nothing about the moral, how it explores Huey's character or Della's first atempts at being a mother?

Goldie will likely try to get Scrooge to marry her at some point, especially when someone new trues and almost manages to land him. Just like the original series.
