Good video but i dont think fitting a seal on a tailgate is a good idea. Pickups are designed not to be watertight at the tailgate so any water in the load bay runs out the gaps in the tailgate when moving. Sealing this gap can cause your loading bed to full with water.
Thanks very much..👍.So true its not good to water tight the back of the tub. My application on this was for stoping the dust from getting inside the tub.
Not everyone wants their tub open to elements. More people fit roller covers and canopys now.
@@longy6612 Yes i know, but was saying they are designed to let water out if left open.

@@longy6612 Not my logic. Look it up, its how they are designed. It stops you driving around with a bed full of heavy water.
Hi, Have you got a spray on tub liner or is it a plastic liner? Also do you have the tailgate assist too? Have you found any issues with the seal kit and those two mods?
How is the seal kit going? How long did it last?
