Loved it! Beautiful playing AND singing! Keep it up!
Ummm Hauptwerk / Grandorgue sample based organs 😊
I have heard much about Hauptwerk and would love to know more about it. Thanks for watching.
Only just getting into myself , building a console, Grandorgue is free open source and many sample sets are free to use so entry if can't justify the cost of Hauptwerk for the full version is accessible :-) needs lots of ram !
20:00 Abyss doesn't have any effects, that's just the lowest stop on the organ and a lot of wind!
Thanks for that. Wow, that is a lot of wind 🌬
Are those first two libraries capable of shorter release time than in your demo here? Long release does not sound like reverb, it sounds electronic, so if release can't be shorted much, these libraries cost way to much for what they are.
Thanks for the feedback. I pulled up Symphonic Pipe Organ to look at what options were there. I find that you are given control over the Note RELEASE, TIGHTNESS of the shorter notes (or how far into the sample to start, something like a pre-note delay). There is also no built-in reverb parameter, but you have six mic mixes ranging from close to ambient which lets you blend things to get a sound you might be looking for.
How Great tho Art!
Elvis himself would be impressed 😁
Thank you, thank you very much! 😎
Hello is union chapel organ can use the program change trick if I use full brassy sound then woodwinds sounds in a track ?
I am not sure. There might be a way to switch between STOP presets by assigning a MIDI CC to select the one you are looking for.
All great Pipe Organs, I have and use. May I also suggest the Royal Albert Hall Organ.
Royal Albert Hall Organ is the king of all organs in my books. But this library has some nice options as well.
Hello Emil, yes the Royal Albert Hall Pipe Organ is an amazing achievement. I featured it on the channel when it was released.
Thanks so much for watching. Joyfully!🎹
@@PraiseTracks May I ask how you would compare the Royal Albert Hall organ and the Spitfire Symphonic organ in terms of sound? From my perspective the one from Spitfire sounds a bit more "musical tuned" in a little disharmonic way that gives it an exciting vibe while the Royal Albert one sounds more "perfect" or clean tuned. On the other hand the second one sounds much deeper and heavier at least in my perception.
What do you think about their differences and their personalities?
The Royal Albert Hall Organ would have what you might call a larger than life sound. It also gives you several mic perspectives and registers that allow you to bring it into more subtle and intimate places as well.
The Spitfire Pipe organ would in my opinion lean toward more of a traditional and classical feeling while still maintaining a very large and imposing sound. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
@@PraiseTracks Thank you for your quick and detailed response. Regarding the mic positions, the Spitfire organ should have about 6 as well so both organs offer a lot of options. What of course is a very huge difference is the reverb, considering that the Spitfire organ was recorded in a very small room so there I should go for external reverb I guess. At the moment I lean more towards Spitfire but will take some time to think about it. Thank you very much for sharing your perspective. Have a good day.
How would you compare this to organteq?
I have heard so much about Organteq but have not had a chance to check it out personally. I will see about reaching out to possibly give it a go. Thanks so much for watching.
You get only 1, chapel or symphonic?
Help me decide
I will pull these up again and let you know using fresh ears. Thanks for watching.
Sorry for my delay. I just pulled both of these up and tended to lean more toward the Symphonic. It had a nice bright full sound, is KONTAKT Player compatible (so you would not have to have the FULL version of KONTAKT), it also included the individual manual stops as well as some fun Warped EDNA.
The Union Chapel had a much darker, almost covered sound, but it might be what you need sometimes. It also has the individual stops and manuals. You do need the FULL version of Kontakt to run it however. I hope that helps. Joyfully yours, Simeon
