As Zep fan who bought the vinyls when they released em, yeah these guys are comparable to them, except they are TIGHTER and this guy's vocals are BETTER than Plant's. Plus this drummer and guitatist are both crazy good. RIP James. Kingdom Come "Gettin it on" forever!

They have way better songs than this. I heard this song back in 1989 and filed KC away in the plagiarism bin. My mistake. For whatever reason I googled them 20 years later and found songs like Twilight Cruiser, Glove of Stone, Passion Departed, Mad Queen, etc. The Zeppelin influence is there, but not as blatant as Get It On. They definitely had their own sound. If nothing else, check out the outro solo to Twilight Cruiser. You will be glad you did.

I met the drummer for these guys when he was with a local band that rocked out her in Louisville,Ky at the Toy Tiger. Fire Department was there name. This drummer is bad ass! He went on to greater things

The drummer here was James Kottak , he played for Buster Brown , (they were Louisville's hottest band at the time ) I was pretty good friends with Fire Dept. guitarist Allen N. Their drummer was Perry S., they still do reunion shows from time to time . Seems like yestetday , but its been a while . Just a little FYI

I saw them in the late 80's, they opened the Monsters Of Rock tour in Philly, PA. They sounded excellent 😁🤘 Metallica played 2nd out of 7 bands. It wasn't long before they were closing shows.
