This is so pretty .. I am a self taught beginner nail tech .. you make it look so easy doing it ..my beads don’t blend in properly and leave bumps 😩😩 .. but I am guessing it’s because the beads I am picking up are dry

So I have a question. When I was doing my nails last weekend I filed the acrylic and it left scratches in it. I tried a nail file and bc I don’t have the metal drill bits I have to use sanding bands. I also don’t have a buffer. How do I prevent this? Is it the acrylic or just what I’m using to file it? I’m also working on a budget bc I’m only 16

Files have different grits. 80/100 is more removing bulk and shaping the sides quickly, 180 is to prep the natural nail and shape the nail. It doesn't leave many scratches either. Get a buffer if you want something more smooth. I don't buff them because I apply gel polish on top

Yes you can! just rub it in their cuticles only to avoid it getting on the nail and even if you do, wipe with alcohol.
