    A very honest and excellent review. I myself use the V6. I was searching for the differences between the v6 and v7 and the the differences for me are too small to upgrade. Maybe if the true color CPL is available as a seperate component i would consider buying it. I am from the Netherlands and the price here is €249,- and that is not worth for me coming from the V6 to go to the V7.

    Nice video!
    May I have a practical question about storage and transportation regarding the V7 CPL? The adding and removal of the CPL looks really fiddly, esp. with gloves on, in harsh weather or in the dark. If I get a spare main adapter for use without CPL, how can i store and transport the one WITH the CPL in the camera bag? What's the size of that combo? Does it fit into a tin holder of the Lee stopper filters for example? Can the CPL fall off from the adapter while transporting?
    Thank you in advance!

    • @BrettWoodPhoto
      @BrettWoodPhoto  Před měsícem +1

      You can store all the filters in the pouch that comes with the kit, or I leave the polariser on each lens & use the NiSi lens caps. The holder is 3 slots, if you only want 2 just use 2.

      Cheers Russell, I use the Nisi App. in fading light I may add about 20% in my head & vice versa on a rising sun, I'd subtract about 20%, if you have a decent camera always better to slightly underexpose.

So, V6-V7 seems a ood choice. nice tip to explain direction of polarizer. However, are there graduations/clics on polarizer to know where we are ? or how to proceed to find 90 degrees ?

      @Mrbluesplayer43 Před 2 lety

      @@BrettWoodPhoto I'll have to disagree with you on that. Step-up rings are exactly what they say they are and are an intermediary step to attach something else. An adapter ring generally fits directly to your lens threads. The reason I ask is that if you've ever tried using aluminium step-up or step-down rings in cold climates you will know there are notorious for getting stuck to what you screw them into, especially if that is also aluminium. I've experienced this so many times and would consider this a pretty serious detriment to the system if you need an intermediary step-up ring. Incidentally the link you provided doesn't have viewing permissions.
