I agree that the calibre of the rastafarian artistes have fallen. There was a greater level of consciousness in both the music and the lifestyle. Non-rasta people had a level of respect for the way the past rastas conducted themselves.
Rastas could not be found partaking in certain behaviours. And this is both men and women.
Your question is not easy to answer. They may still be benefiting the culture because the overall modern day population is more relaxed and more accepting of slackness, hence even tourists will gravitate towards what is now being put out.
In terms of traditional rasta values, I think today's rasta artistes no longer represent those that we were accustomed to.

@@londonyardietv @mylazyroots2178 Im late to the conversation. I’m not Jamaican but I have a strong passion to Rasta life, music since my dad introduced it to me as a child . The clearing of the mind, purification of the heart and soul. I didn’t know genres as a kid but I know now my love is in Lovers Rock and Roots Reggae. I understood “Til Shiloh” was a classic before it was considered a classic. I understood the passion of Garnett Silk before I knew how he was revered. All that being said really the only young artist I can consistently vide with are Chronixx, Samory-I, Lila Ike (she’s just so sexy) but I love how she always praise past artist.
