According to Stockfish she is already +20 and the best 29 moves later is checkmate. Even if she does not do best moves, once the rook comes in about 20 moves after the bishop, it would be hard to blunder her Queen, Bishop and Rook as the board is open and basically at the endgame.

At the 2:41 mark, I guess they are so good and forward thinking that they can see the end with just a check and not a checkmate. I know he could move his King forward to evade check and then she would bring her Bishop up to do check again. Then he could...

I also noticed they both lost interest in stopping their timers. Since his timer had 30 seconds more time than hers did when she put check on his king, I wonder if she would have noticed had HE started to milk out HER running clock? Cheap play for him to try but War is War.

Brilliant how she sacrificed 3 back-row pieces to get the superior winning board position while he only lost one back-row piece and felt in charge until she pounced.

@@dondee5439 I don't think there's anything he could do after the Bishop check because that grabs both the Knight and Queen. Even worse, she likely forks King and Rook after that. From there it's a steamroll.

I'm sorry if my question seems dumb or unnecessary for a lot of you, but I didn't understand why she won. Couldn't he move forward with his king and her queen wouldn't be able to reach him anymore?

I don't think there's a forced mate imminent, but after
      ... K - e7
      B - g5+ N - f6
      B x N+ K - e8
      B x Q
      If ... K x B then Q - f6+ wins the rook.
Black's position is decimated. White can essentially mop up the remaining pieces at leisure.
      Instead of ... K - e8, he can play K - e6, but then B x Q+ and it's just as hopeless.

I like that you are better than me, but I'm close enough that I can still follow your train of thought when you stop to analyze for a while. With people like Hikaru, I'm sitting their scratching my head as to what he's up to whenever he pauses as he's far too deep into the position for my small brain to handle lol.
