Make a video on university of ottawa admission process
I am an employee , how can I improve my profile.
Cgpa of 9 , 2 Internships , 3 projects , 8.5 IELTS and 310 gre , is it good enough to get admn in canada for MS , any above avg uni .?
Hi, so there's no hard and fast rule of getting an admit, it all depends on your profile 'holistically'. If your internships, projects are relevant to the course you are applying for you have a good chance.
Gre does not matter that much in Canada Because it's optional.
Make sure your SOP is well structured, justified, does not repeat your resume entirely, and portrays your thought process.
@@tejaskhare99 thanks , hope to meet you soon in CA.
Hello Tejas,
I hope you are safe and doing well
I am Saumya Bhatt from Gujarat, India.
I am aiming to apply for University of Ottawa in fall 2022 for course based Masters with concentration in Applied AI.
Here is my profile:-
1. Completed B-tech in Computer Engineering with 7.88 CGPA from C.G. Patel Institute of Technology, Gujarat.
2. Completed 3 Internships in Machine Learning, 2 Internships were 6 months long and 1 Internship was 3 months long
3. Currently doing a job as Machine Learning developer and will complete 1 year as an employee In May 2022
I wanted to know if I can apply to University of Ottawa based on your experience.
Hi yes definitely, there might be some disadvantage because of ur cgpa but overall profile looks good. Do u have a research experience?
@@tejaskhare99 Yes I am currently working on publishing a research paper.. I hope it will be published by October maybe.
But does course based master require research experience ?
It generally does not but it's very unpredictable nowadays. So there's no harm in having a paper published in an indexed conference or a journal
Share your experience of University of ottawa
Brother CGPA is 9 and CPI is 9.43 (till 5th semester, expecting 9+ in 6th sem) just entered in final year. And I have completed diploma with 8.9 CGPA, yet to give ielts. When should I start process and do I stand a chance to get in, have done 4 to 5 project till now and have 2 papers on first draft(not published)
Hi assuming ur applying for CS, Fall 2021 was very unpredictable. It's good u have a cgpa around 9 but it's very hard to say where do u have a chance. As I mentioned in the vid, having relevant work experience or internship, research work, courses, extra-curriculars etc will surely boost ur chance
@@tejaskhare99 Hello,
It's mechanical engineering B.E
Try to publish those papers you still have time. It will stand your profile apart
Also get good LORs that helps a lot
@@tejaskhare99 so CGPA doesn't matter that much? And btw thanks for reply
How much cgpa will be considered as good for masters
CGPA greater than 9.0 should be competitive enough. But it always depends on the applicant pool, so do your best for getting a good cgpa.
I have 8.6 is it enough aur it will create problem
hello , im currently in 7th sem with a cgpa of 9.10 and ielts score of 7.5 overall . Also i am doing my internship right now in business analytics so what are my chances im pretty nervous can you help me.
Hi for which course ?
@@tejaskhare99masters in computer science or masters in data science
What information do you need exactly, cause I can't say what chances do u have , actually no one can.
Sir, Video on TOEFL please.
Sure I'll try to make it as soon as possible 👍🏻
