As a Chinese, THREE is the most commonly mispronounce word, because there's no "th-" in Chinese. I didn't discover this until people started correcting me in the UK, when I often caught saying "Free (Three)" and "Day (They)"

Thai have it hard to pronounce the r in a word, and is some times just replaced with an l, which makes for some pretty interesting english words.
Actually it's one of the most unique sounds in English.

it reminds me of something that I deliver to my students at the start of every semester. I start off every class with what I refer to as 'Study Skills Sessions' (SSS) - things like essay-writing skills, presentation skills, research skills etc. The powerpoints that I use are named SSS.1, SSS.2a, SSS.3b, etc ... I've had quite a few students raising their eyebrows at the start of the semester.

Hahaha, for Cantonese speakers like the ones in HK, “th” is pronounced as “F”, and for Mandarin speakers, it’s often mispronounced as “S”. I know this because I speak Cantonese and Mandarin and my Cantonese relatives and Mandarin speaking husband both get the “th” wrong. It actually is a Greek letter θ, and pronounced with the tongue between the teeth. My Mandarin speaking husband would say “think” as “sink”, while my Cantonese relatives would say “fink”. 🤣🤣
