INTERNATIONAL BATTLE OF THE YEAR 2014 - 2ND BATTLE - INFAMOUS (FRANCE) VS BODY CARNIVAL (JAPAN)
The Battle Of The Year has come a long way. Who would have thought that BOTY would go from starting out in 1990 in a local youth culture centre with 500 hard-core fans to an arena packed with more than 12,000 roaring spectators and b-boy crews from all over the world?
BOTY has grown massively - and we have slowly realised our vision of developing the spirit of breakdance and creating an international event platform that allows B-Boys and B-Girls from all different countries to express their creativity in front of an ever-growing audience.
BOTY 2014 was huge - and our aim is to keep it growing, evolving and pushing it to become the best Battle Of The Year we can possibly achieve, to once again prove that the event has earned its position as a pinnacle of the breaking and b-boying scene. Let’s celebrate a quarter-century of BOTY history together! Keep on rockin’ the next 25 years!

I had great expectations for france... but amazing individuals don't always make a great crew... instead of talking to each other, they kept trash talking... the moment lil kev finish his set, and jackson comes in to do another set, france knew that they were going to lose. On a brighter noter, benji taking part to a battle is going to give him enough material for at least 5 trailers lol well done Japan: you came well prepared. Peace.

102TOush the answer to a routine is another routine... to me, jackson coming in right after lil kev shows infamous were not prepared as a crew, but prepared as individuals... I know that trash talking is part of the strategy, but it was annoying and didn't work... the only one trying to organise the crew was lil kev... great individual performances, poor crew performances... I am a big fan of lilou but can't believe he voted for infamous... peace.

Why such a close decision? A clear win for Body Carnival! I do not like that BC started with a routine. There were too many routines. However, Infamous had some nice routines. They were just too sloppy, crashed too often, were too nervous and the only 'handsome' dancing was by bboy (name?) at 1:37.
Fr: Difficult moves, but less style.
Ayumi, Narumi and Kazuki Roc had nice solos. And Ryuji at 6:15 - just ill!

je sais pas si je kiffe cette battle, c'était des combinaisons qui prennet pas mal de temps contre des individualités.Donc oui le japon a gagné stratégiquement, avec de tres bonnes combinaisons comme d'hab et je regrette la pauvresse des combinaisons francaises, mais perso, j'aurais preféré voir des 1 vs 1 sans combinaisons donc ou pas autant.Les francais n'ont pas eu le temps de montrer grand chose, car les japonais ont pris plus de temps que les francais grace à leur combinaisons.Dommage, car le groupe frrancais avait de la gueule et du niveau surtout.

Antoine Gilibert Même en 1 vs 1 ils aurais perdu , les japonnais était largement au dessus , les passages des français était bien trop court . Après les coréens ont toujours pour la plupart des crew beaucoup utilisé les combinaisons , de plus le temps au boty a était raccourcie par apport au année précédente personnellement j'aurais aimé voir un autre crew que cette " dream team " pour représenté la france .

Les coréens sont clairement au dessus ... ça a de la gueule leur battle ... côté français à part dire que ça touche, lever les bras au ciel après un moove et faire du trash talking y'a pas grand chose si ce n'est 2 / 3 trucs individuels mais rien de bien transcendants pour espérer gagner ... Lilou a été bien gentil d'leur donner sa voix, surement histoire de pas les froisser ... Au final, quand j'regarde que la prestation française, j'me dis qu'il est loin le temps des Pokemons et autre Vagabonds ...
P.S. : Les français sont en plus de ça insupportable à regarder, surtout l'autre qu'arrête pas d'parler aux juges, de mimer qu'ça touche et qui fait style le chef à passer non stop devant les autres membres en faisant limite les 100 pas( j'connais pas son nom désolé ), sans parler du p'tit blondinet à la coupe de cheveux improbable ( Lil Kev' je crois ), rien que pour cette coupe et son attitude ils méritaient pas d'se qualifier ...
