Jessica, your recommendations are always the best and most useful! Definitely getting the dog toy!
I have this exact espresso machine (model, color, everything) from last year's black friday deals. It cost me less than $500. It's amazing, you put in coffee beans and water from time to time and when you want coffee - you just select the drink and it does everything (grinds the coffee, brews milk, etc.). You can adapt each option to your taste, for example how strong and long you want the drink to be, and it remembers the last settings for each option. I highly recommend it to anyone who is a coffee lover like my husband or a latte fan like me 😊
The highlights subscription is such a great idea! Another great gift for people who love the outdoors is a state park pass for the state they live in. I got this gift one year and it was honestly the most surprising and wonderful gift that I started buying them as gifts for others in my life.
I just love that headband on you it makes you look like a princess.
My husband did a ridiculous amount of research before purchasing his coffee machine. Jura is where he landed. I’m so pleased to see it mentioned several times in the comments. He loves it and his obsessive research certainly paid off. It does what you mention - just push a button.
Yes !! We have one too. It's amazing...does all the things...coffee, espresso, froth milk, hot water, grinds beans all from pressing a button. It's an investment that's well worth the $$ .
We just got one! Refurbished from their website is the way to go. Factory restored and at a better price point
I have a Jura and it is Magnificent!!! I love mine. ❤
Jessica, I want to Thank You so much for recommending Storyworth to me two Christmas’ ago. I got it for both of my parents and they loved it. My Dad passed away this year and we are now so grateful to have that book. Thank You again. ❤❤
You unlocked a core memory for me with the Highlights magazine! We never had it growing up, but my dentist office did and the sweet lady at the desk saw how much I loved them and she would save issues for me and give them to me when we came in every 6 months! Man I loved that!
I love that! How sweet of her. Love people like that. That's how our neighbor is. Always saves sweet animal magazines and nature calendars for my 9-year-old.
My family and I have a Giftster account. We’re all linked in a group and we just add to our wish list anytime we see something we want or like. Then if someone purchases something off someone else’s list they can mark it purchased and everyone else can see except the person who’s list it was. You can “fetch “ and copy and paste links from anywhere to it. We love it and add to it all year long. So convenient.
I have a personal wish list, book wish list (I am a big reader and my husband knows that if it's on the list I don't have it and haven't read it), kids present ideas and home wish list on Amazon. My husband loves it and I whenever my kids mention something throughout the year I add it to the list and I end up with lots of ideas for Christmas.
Jura is the espresso/coffee machine that you want. Best investment that my wife and I made for our daily coffee. Nothing compares.
I'm obsessed with my delonghi dinamica espresso machine, it's the ECAM35020B model. We've had it for 3 years and absolutely love it. It grinds the beans, completely customizable, you can choose strength, how fine you want the grind to be, size of the cup to brew, type you wanna brew, regular coffee, espresso, double espresso, iced coffee, etc and it's all push of a button automatic, does everything for you. It also has a frother attached. I highly recommend it.
I remember Highlights.Glad to see they still exist!
My Libby has a waitlist for literally everything. My husband gifted me kindle unlimited for 2 years! Love it!
I’m a huge knitter and crocheter! My grandma taught me to knit when I was 6 and I think I have knit almost every day since then lol. I think that the kits can be very expensive. For yourself, you could find a CZcams tutorial for a creature you want to make and then go to michaels for the hook and yarn you need and it would definitely be way cheaper! CZcams is an amazing resource for learning to knit or crochet!
Another idea would be seeing if you have a local yarn store and if they have learn to knit or crochet classes!
I’m thinking about doing Storyworth with my father… he’s battling stage 4 pancreatic and liver cancer … I want to make the most out of the time we have
A helpful hint to keep running shoes looking a little cleaner, is to spray them with “boot” spray. I don’t know what it’s called. The water repellent protector spray. Someone even recommended to me to spray my canvas backpack and I swear almost 2 years later it still looks almost new
I never knew they made stick on bird feeders. I need one of those. My cats would be obsessed watching the birds coming up to the window.
At the stage of my life I'm currently in, I have no idea what to put on my wishlist. Anything I want or need, I usually buy myself, and if there's a reason I'm not buying it, then I've also got a reason I can't justify asking someone else to buy it for me (e.g. I don't have space for it, it's too similar to something else I already own and I don't think I'll choose to use it over the one I alreasy own, it's fragile and I'm clumsy and don't trust myself not to break it, it's expensive for what it is (not that I object to spending money on some things, but if it's expensive or not great value, I don't feel comfortable asking for it), etc.). Pretty much the only things I don't mind adding to my list are Lego, chocolate, and stationery, and occasionally perfume (depending on the pricepoint of the one that's on my wishlist and it has to be one that I already know I love and will use).
Thank you for sharing what your favorite study Bible and devotional are. Lovely to see!
Where is the sweater you are wearing from?? So cute!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Wooble kits! Yes they are pricey, but it's worth it for at least the first few kits. Their instructions, yarn and patterns are so easy to use and that is worth every penny. Once you get the hang of it, you can decide if you're confident enough to branch out into etsy patterns or knockoff kits. 100% recommend!
Your description of your dream coffee maker sounds like you’d like a Jura. Have you seen those? They’re super pricy but we’ve had ours for 10 years, and never need or even want to buy coffee out. You can have espresso, americano, latte, cappuccino, macchiato etc all at the press of a button. No pods, just roasted beans. We love it, highly recommend!
Loved all of these ideas. Would love to see some more kids gift ideas/ toys you bought / received previous christmas's that you recommend.
Definitely start with Woobles brand!! The videos and their type of yarn are essential to understanding the stitches. It is pricier, but once you use it, you can understand patterns and use less expensive kits. So fun!
Good to know!! :)
I totally get the toaster wish! We buy sleeves of bagels, split and freeze the halves right back into the plastic sleeve. We don’t eat them fast enough to keep them unrefrigerated, so we can pop a half in our toaster on the defrost function, which perfectly toasts them. We each prefer different varieties so that’s 24 halves to freeze! Love your gift idea videos!
Board games are our favorite to get for my kids. They have so much fun with them!
I love these videos! And when you said birdfeeder I thought that was such a good idea so I’ll nerd out right with you!😂
Can confirm - Woobles are great. 👌🏻
We bit the bullet and bought a Jura Espresso Machine and it does everything. Very expensive but very worth it. It does everything. We don't mind the cleaning because we love the coffee so much. It makes several types of drinks.
We love our Delonghi Eletta Explore Fully automatic coffee machine, it does hot and cold drinks, connects with Bluetooth. You can make a coffee from your phone. It has a hot and cold milk jugs. We love it, easy to clean tells you when it has to be descaled. Grinds the beans does everything for you tells you when the drip tray has to be emptied, tells you when it has to be descaled, tells you when the water filter has to be changed virtually everything. You can have your drinks that you like under your name. So worth the price.
We have a double toaster from Costco that adjusts based on type of bread and level of toastiness (I probably made that word up but you know what I mean)
Yes! I'm doing that exact wooble right now! I already made one and I'm almost done with two more! The Woobles are wonderful gifts and my almost 2 year old loves to watch me make them and is very patiently waiting for me to finish the ones I'm working on! Highly recommend!
I haven't been here all 10 years but you definitely are in the running for my longest watched CZcamsr! 💕
I have been on a Jess binge and I’m loving it
My birthday is in January also. I love it. My thought has always been, if I didn’t get it for Christmas I still had another chance! 😎
I had a bird seed feeder in our window for a day. And then I saw a rat in it... It went straight in the trash and now we just have a hummingbird feeder. 😂
I am sucker for cups with straws. Especially those that keep your water cold. Definitely going on my wishlist. I currently have a Stanley look alike but mine comes with a handle which makes it 100x better in my opinion.
Lol. Watching this after the vlog of Tyler buying Jessica’s presents. I have dome ideas that he bought !!
Love the background and setting! Camera settings look fantastic. 🙌
I wish that Ana Luisa heart necklace came in silver 😩😩
I got the Owala water bottle for myself and the kids. We are drinking so much more water these days! Love the free sip spout. Highly recommend
Yes that spout is amazing!!!
I bought the hanging toiletry bag when I watched your hospital bag vlog last year when I was expecting my first baby. That was the first video I watched and I got sucked into the entire Braun family haha....anyway, another vote for the travel toiletry hanging bag.
Highlights?!! GREAT IDEA!!!
I found Sketchers to be the most affordable, comfiest, and cutest slippers for the best price. They don’t last for yearsss, but I usually replace slippers early anyway.
That Phillips coffee machine is legit! Owned one forever still works great and so easy to use. Takes the stress out of espresso. 💕💕
I ❤ to vacuum. It's my favorite chore. 😂 but I'm serious
I’ve been “mentioning “ 😉 that I wanted a Wobbles Kit also 😊
The Woobles are awesome...even my 9yr old has started one! -Christie
As a crocheter, I wouldn’t start with an amigurumi (stuffy) when learning how to crochet. I started with just making a scarf to learn the basic stitches. Doing stuffies isn’t immediately easy to get right, and I even struggle getting them to look nice.
Yay!!!! Amazing gift guide from Jessica!!! Sign me UP!!!
Love you, woman!!!😀😀❤️🎄
Found you through your gift guide last year. Sad I didn't find you sooner but just happy I did. Hope you guys have an amazing Christmas and new year! ❤
Welcome to the crochet dark side 😂 it’s a bottomless pit of yarn and patterns. But I love it so much
LOVED this! Just ordered two of the window bird feeders for gifts and the dog toy--I have a beagle too and she neeeeeeds to be occupied, LOL!
Sending love to you all the way from Sweden, the day always become more delightful with a new Jessica video😍🤩
Love these! Are you going to do a video with gift ideas for our menfolk?
Also, slipper idea: I have a foot issue and have to use inserts and arch support in all my shoes. I get the Bobs/Sketchers slippers each year and order a half side up and then order a set of inserts. Having the inserts in my slippers has been game changers (it’s not that cute) but it’s better than being in pain.
My favorite part of the Owala water bottles is the they are dishwasher safe. Everything goes top rack and the straw we put in the utensils basket. They are the best!!
Notification squad. I’m loving all the content at the moment. January always feels slow but we got Disney vlogs in Jan so it’s all good ❤🎉
I literally just made an Amazon order before this popped up. Whoopsies. 😂
Also I’m a little forced to watch this video (not complaining ❤) bc both my daughters wanted to join me in bed and I tucked them in with me one on each side. Well they both fell back to sleep, so now I’m stuck. Didn’t think that one through 😅
Please tell me your lip color.. love it ❤
Agreed!
The quality of this video is *chefs kiss*
You need the LeCreuset espresso cups! They're amazing!
Such a beautiful set up! And you look amazing as always too💚 thanks for all the content! these and vlogmas!!! Feeling lucky
This is a great gift guide. I will admit, I am someone that loves to vacuum! (But now a robo duster....that would be another story). 😊
You need the Delonghi Magnifica! I’ve had mine for years and love it. It’s fully automatic and can make anything from espresso to lattes to tea!
I love these wishlist videos.❤
17:07 the toaster is worth it.
Thanks Jess! I’ve been dying to get the necklace for myself!!!
i just made one of those woobles for my 2 year old! she’s obsessed with it, i can’t wait to make more!
My almost 2 year old loves the Woobles I've made for him, too! It's such a fun gift!
i had a woobles set and i actually finished it, but i dragged the steps out for too long because i procrastinate so hard on new things. i got frustrated and gave up on it halfway. i’d recommend it but only if you’re willing to stick with it and not leave it halfway and pick it up after a couple of months like me 😂
I enjoyed your gift ideas n yes i also been watching yalls vlogmas everyday been with you sense the beginning
I got my teenage daughter a kindle this year! She loves to read, I'm so excited for her to get it. ❤ I use mine everyday.
I really loved your list last year of free gift ideas. They were really great. You may want to mention that you did that and link it for some new people. You don't see those too often and yours was great.
I absolutely love my Annaluisa jewelry. Tyfs I appreciate your thoughts on the sweeper by itself. I’m wishing for something like this for Christmas. I ♥️the idea about the Bible and the Sams Club/Costco membership. I would be so happy to get these as a gift. Love ya Jess, and tyfs love the bird feeder too.
What a fabulous gift guide! Thank you Jess 🙏🎄❤️
Happy Christmas to you and your beautiful fam! I never miss your Vlogmas! It’s MY Christmas tradition lol
Xo 🇨🇦
Thanks for the ideas. I’m out shopping today, not much luck. Enjoy your day!
Great ideas thank you so so much and kisses from Greece!!!
I learned to crochet with the woobles kit! You will be amazed, definitely recommend. I have not put down my crochet hook since.
Great ideas! I have that heart necklace and a crochet kit from Amazon on my list already. 😊
I don’t comment often, but I have to say this is probably one of the best gift guides I’ve seen lately❤
thank you so much!! :)
Love the ideas, per usual, great video!
They are called super automatic espresso machines have a DeLonghi dinamica plus and we are obsessed! Just saw that they were 25% off. I paid full price a year ago.
You are describing the Miele and Jura coffee machines
I have the Philips machine, so so happy with it!
you might like this, Jess. I got my nieces and nephews a card game along with a storage tin from etsy that was invented by a former school teacher. It's called Ecologies Card Game. You "create balanced ecologies while trying to unbalance your opponents" using real science facts.
I just got the Philips on Black Friday. It’s amazing, I love it!
1. I have the machine in the picture - GAME CHANGER - down side is that it is loud when it grinds the beans 😬 but littles are usually up early anyways -my family is so used to it they don’t even hear it anymore -- ps David Yurman makes gorgeous crosse - and I am usually not a fan because his stuff his so recognizable - It is $$$$$ my son “bought” me mine he has clearly been trained to make his dad buy the good stuff 😂
Jessica, I think you want a Jura coffee maker. Both of my brothers have one and absolutely love it!
This camera quality looks awesome!! Not sure if it’s a new or different camera but looks amazing.
Jessica, your #1 is exactly my number #1 gift wish. I've been looking at so many models but can only dream ☕️😂
Can you tell us which eyeshadows your wearing? I love the clean eyelook
I ordered a De'Longi Magnifica Evo on cyber Monday (getting delivered today!) and it's supposed to be all the things you mentioned you wanted in an espresso machine. Here's hoping 🤞🏻
I keep a Google doc wishlist all year for birthday & Christmas, plus I write things in it so I can wait a little bit before buying it and get it out of my head!! It’s chock full of stuff, don’t be worried about having a wishlist 😅
What sweatshirt are you wearing in Vlogmas Day 8 at Meijer???
Jess, what’s your current coffee machine? I’d like one that grinds beans
The Jura grinds for you! I’ve heard only great things. Does it all - it is on my dream list one day, definitely pricy but would use it daily!
Owala water bottles were my go to gift for 2020 during covid. That straw is an amazing option but I prefer to guzzle when at the gym. They don’t leak, either!
Watching just to hang out 🙋🏻♀️😂
Hi Jess..maybe it's time for you and Tyler to start getting Anniversary gifts. You both love coffee so that espresso machine would be nice!❤
Hey where is your headband from? It's super cute!
OMG, my husband bought that toaster last Xmas! It works fine; it’s a conversation piece, etc, but it doesn’t cook anytbing to perfection, FYI. The settings are oddly heavy for most things we toast - we typically use level 1 or 2 out of 8. If you want a neat gadget it is that, but not an amazingly awesome toaster, IMO.
Look into the Gaggia espresso maker. It does everything… not your laundry though! Sorry!🤣
