Living in the Mars 15 Premium, we feel after 3 months we can give you a run down on what it's actually like to own and deal with one.
We picked up our caravan from Melbourne.

Hahaha yes thank you. It's not really camping with all the perks is it 😬 sometimes we do miss hitching up a tent and stargazing.

We just bought the 15 elite which is the same as the premium but has the bunks.
I think they have just added a flexible light for the outdoor cooking area but will probably still need more out side lights. You can but rechargeable camp lights the you would be able to hang

we have the flexible light over the stove. We forgot to mention.
We are thinking an Led strip permanently stuck to the Inside of the awning which is 12v. It can have different colours for bugs and etc.

hey guys we have a hybrid van similar to yours all we did with the bed end privacy screen was went to bunnings in the fencing area and got 2 aluminiun slats cut to size and stuck velcro at each end and put them at the bottom to protected the screen from pillows works well nice vid keep them coming

Hi guys, we recently bought the Mars 13 with same king bed, it's the memory foam thats the issue, like sleeping on marshmallows😢 a sping mattress was not an option due to it folding, the exta weight and springs being so small would be to hard. We ended up goning to Fantastic furniture and purchased 2 australian made double bed 150mm foam mattresses (no memory foam) then unzipped covers, cut the double bed foam to match and then slip them into the Mars covers. $139 each but much much more comfortable better sleep.

Love the layout of the Premium with the club lounge at the front, but it’s so daunting committing to a van with all the horror stories you hear 😬.
Main thing that concerns us with this van is all the weights as we tend to overpack 😅
Thank you for watching. Yes the towball weight is heavy. But as long as the car is capable it tows really well. I'm still looking forward to testing it completely off-road on sand or mud to give me the peace of mind of choosing an off-road van. Because in hindsight the full-size caravans are just as heavy. Just not off-road capable.

I'm so glad I came across your review. My wife and I purchased a MARS-13 about 6 months ago. So far we have only used it once and already had 2 going on 3 warranty issues. I will continue to follow your travels and wish you the best of luck. It looks as though the models outside of the US do have some different features. I would love to keep collaborating with you guys and can't wait to see what the future brings. I filmed a review as well but have not had time to edit yet. Life always gets in the way. Maybe soon. 🤙

Thanks for the comment.
It turns out It was minor issues in the water pump, and awning is very vulnerable to weather like heavy rain. Will bend, so be mindful with it pooling.
Biggest issue would have to be the service from Mars, unfortunately
Bunnings has magnetic Solar lights you could put them on the side of the van or attach one with Velcro straps to the fan pole.

Great video, I have a question for you guys,would you recommend or buy again Mars caravan? We were going to put the deposit on Mars 13 X but after seeing your and other peoples comments about the issues I’ll have to consider that seriously ,your help with this matter will be much appreciated. Thank you! Well we traded it in at a loss. So we definitely wouldn’t buy again. We were misled with the weights and stuffed around with warranty. After speaking to a few people it seems to be normal to expect some problems with caravans and brands however it was the after sale service that tipped us over.

I checked out their office in Sydney. They could'nt even get off their chairs to talk to me & the one who did couldn't be bothered to demonstrate anything. That impression was enough to put me off the brand. If they treated me like how would they behave if I had issues afterwards.
Yes, they were nice to us. Up until we went to pick up the van. Then they didn’t really care.
But we were too excited to worry about it lol.
Good review. Do you get dust and dirt in the back hatch when on dirt roads? I'm debating on where to get a opening in the back or not.
The tiniest bit of grain/sand/gravel whatever it is appears under the bed.
Also, keep in mind the opening for the bed gets extremely hot in the sun and become like a heater during the day.

Hi Great video me and wife have just bort 2024 15 prem with outside pantry and we have moved the shower so we could have more storage room mmm wife :) also we had extra 120 ltr fidge fitted we also have put a mattress topper on still need something a bit better also how's come with a led lead light for kitchen space would have been good if change changed colour but had nothing but troubles with TV that it come with camper we had to buy new TV and antenna but beside that great caravan plus i could not get the rear vision camera on van working but again it looked like it was fitted with a ebay special

Good call on buying a new tv. The bed is great, king size and very comfy with a topper. Storage is king and can never have enough. So good call. Seems like you knew what you wanted. It was our first caravan so we just went off the suggestions from Mars.
Hi i we have a 13 x hybrid i like your idea with the annex pole in the middle of the awning i actually tried it out and works well. But did you do this for just to mount the fan on i wanted to know how it would go using it as a way of making the awning more rigid when it rains to stop pooling on the awning
Thank you Peter. We did this to stop the pooling and then doubled it up as a mount for the fan. However, I don't believe it works as well with heavy rain. I would still need to tilt the awning slightly.
is the fan outside USB or 240 plugin? if 240 plugin, where from? Would you buy it again?
Hi, thanks for the comment. It’s a 12V cigarette plug. And yes when you get those bloody hot days with no breeze. They’re a treat. Got it from Jaycar. Only $30 bucks or something.
