Still I get the same feeling as I watch this video, inspired, happy, touched, euforic.. it releases so much feelings that I fight to hold back tears pressing on. @@Canguterio Well here too (I'm Italian) we are a very popular tourist destination, but the same goes very well in the competition. The problem is not how they see you, they are the songs ... in 2014 you were robbed of the victory, and there were many years in which (in my opinion) you deserved much more, but unfortunately this is Eurovision. I think both you and Portugal are very disadvantaged because you are a bit isolated from other countries like mine, Sweden, Greece, Poland etc ... anyway I wish you good luck for the next few years :D

Estoy sorprendido que la canción de España haya sido cantada en Inglés. Es diferente, agradable, refrescante. No lo creía al principio. Los tiempos cambian. Es bueno. Espero que en el futuro vuelvan a cantar en una lengua ibérica. Que no sea solo Inglés. Recuerdo que antes se cantaba en mas lenguas en el festival y me gustaba mas. Cada vez se oyen mas canciones cantadas en Inglés y no es lo mismo. Siento que el sabor o alma del país que canta no se percibe igual y ya no echa a volar uno la imaginación igual. No es que tenga algo en contra del Inglés. Es la lengua que mas escucho y me gusta mucho, a veces siento que mas que el Español, es especial y parte de mí. Siento que en un festival como Eurovisión, es más bello escuchar canciones en muchos idiomas que solo en pocos, lo hace mas interesante y mas “mágico” si se puede decir, para los no europeos.

España este año viene renovada con una propuesta refrescante, un gran acierto el uso del ingles, pero me parece que debieron incluir al menos unas lineas en español (ej el caso de Amir cantando en francés con el coro en ingles). Una de las cosas que más amo de Eurovision es la expresión multicultural y que sirve como una ventana para resaltar la cultura y la lengua de cada país concursante, el problema es que como bien dices, cada vez son menos los países que compiten con canciones cantadas en sus idiomas maternos, es parte de la globalización y con el ingles como estrategia se logra llegar a mas gente, aunque no pasa lo mismo con el sentimiento que se trasmite, una canción interpretada en una lengua propia y con instrumentos y ritmos folks típicos de cada país, hacen que esa canción sea más hermosa. Un gran ejemplo de lo que quiero decir es Željko Joksimović cuando compitió en 2012 con la hermosa canción Nije Ljubav Stvar representando a Serbia (cantada hermosamente en serbio y para no dejar por fuera nada, con versiones oficiales en ingles, ruso y español!), y este año Jamala me enamoró con la poderosa y muy emocional 1944. Aunque disfruto mucho de los nuevos ritmos eurovisivos, no puedo dejar de pensar que seria mucho más bonito e interesante sino se dejara por fuera la esencia de cada país.

Ojalá esto sean ciclos y cuando se aburran de las similaridades volverán a la variedad y así sucesivamente.

Antes todo el mundo iba con traje de luces mas cercano al circo que a la realidad. Hay carta blanca con el idioma y eso permite que si tu canción suena bien en ingles puedas usarlo, si por ejemplo Austria con Zöe cante en frances pueda hacerlo ... Y eso variará en que un año coincida y la gente apueste mas por el ingles o por otras lenguas. Este año no mandabamos unas bulerias pero el año que las mandemos las haremos en Español, obvio! Porque suenan mejor. No hay que hacer Eurodramas porque no es el fin del mundo, el año que viene puede ser totalmente distinto pero tampoco hay que der mas papista que el papa y entrar en una dictadura de una sola posibilidad.
