B.C. chef here, a common technique for keeping maximum freshness with live spot prawns is to cook them asap after they are out of the tank. Boiling stock or water or liquid of choice poured over a single layer of prawns in a hotel pan. You want them to cook quickly then cool but traditional blanching or poaching its easy to overcook them. They store on ice for much longer than raw this way and avoid turning black. I had convinced an older couple to get out of their large motor home and into a custom van. A little over 2 years later they say they couldn't be happier. They say at times they miss the space but overall they really didn't need it. They are on their 2nd one now and the resale was so much better on the van compared to the loss one takes on a motorhome. The best part is when they want to see things they can drive around much easier, otherwise they need to tow a car or arrange a ride. Biggest downfall is when there is an argument but this forces them to take time on a walk or work it out.

I started watching your channel a year or two ago, when you were still working at the restaurant, and it’s great to see people getting to do what their passionate about and getting paid for it. FYI...Coho (Silver Salmon), Oncorhynchus kisutch, Ocean raised Rainbow (Steelhead), O. mykiss and Sockeye (Red Salmon) O. Nerka are the 3 salmonids that the Japanese love. They buy the frozen Coho and Steelhead from Chile in the Austral summer and Sockeye from Alaska in the Boreal summer. Nice red salmonid meat all year long!

my dad has dementia and needs open heart surgery to replace his aorta valve... his short term memory is... not there he cant remember short term things unless you really drill it into him and go over it allot... anyways... hes in a hospital from 6pm to 8 am alone because people cant stay over all night anymore due to covid... and so my poor dad keeps forgetting certain things and me and my mom cant be there with him.... if it wasn't for covid we would be there with him.... all we can do is call him and stay on the phone with him... and he needs open heart surgery.... it sucks.... and i'm in florida... man i wish shit would go back to normal again and we could get over this covid shit but now this new delta variant.... ... your videos are a nice way to destress man thanks
