One key component of any network is getting a signal onto the transmission medium. In this video, you'll learn the nuances of CSMA/CD and how it differs from CSMA/CA. - Věda a technologie
Awesome video, a good analogy for CSMA/CA is Air Traffic Control, before a pilot can land, he asks the tower, "Is the strip clear for landing?" (RTS message). If the landing strip is clear, the tower says "It's clear for landing" (CTS message). If the strip is not clear, the pilot has to circle back around, wait, and send another RTS.
Good analogy!
Thank You, Professor Messer. This video was brilliant.
Thanks, it was a good revision before venturing into 802.11 standards for me!
Thanks for explaining.
Very informative. Thank for sharing the the information.
So doee that means that csma/dc is at a disadvantage when it comes to bandwidth or speed since its a half duplex ? *sorry I am a newbie*
cleanest explanation ever
Very well done.
easy to understand thanks a lot
Thanks Professor
