He's held the world record for distance casting so must be doing something right.
I'm noticing his line is not shooting out and since the video is not showing his loop, I can't tell why this is.
I have noticed that the angle between your back stroke and your forward stroke is nearly 180 degree which it should never be. You will end up with a giant loop that will go nowhere.
