I agree.
It is good to be precise. The Graham technique is a modern technique created in a specific time to make possible the choreographic compositions of the great Martha Graham.
Some dance schools take it as part of contemporary training. But it is a matter of discussion whether this technique prepares students to dance any kind of choreographic work.

U also have to understand context. Bc words mean diff things in regards to different industries and categories. Yes Graham technique is a modern style under the umbrella of Codified technique, modern technique is part of contemporary concert dance (theatre dance).
