- In today's video, we're looking at the guitar solo from Lionel Richie's Dancing On The Ceiling.
This solo was originally played by Carlos Rios I believe (correct me if I'm wrong!).

Top stuff! Love this little solo
Great work!
Brilliant. Really clearly explained. Quick and concise and all in less than 6 mins. Great stuff. Subscribed.
Cheers Neil, glad you liked it!
Neil agreed good teaching
Sounds great, Jesse!
Thanks Jesse!
Great lesson and great solo
Cheers!
Nice. Well done.
Thanks!
Nice lesson but as others have said... Why the heck is this not in standard tuning???
Hey Jesse. The solo is by Lukather? Its noted on Wiki.
Really? Seems too basic lol
Yes, it's Steve Lukather on this one.
@@dorianponcela9680 Again it is not Lukather on this it's Carlos Rios
@@Waynescottguitar Yes, I think you are right. I've been doing research and Lukather didn't play on that song. It was Carlos Ríos :)
@Dorian Poncela If you haven't heard it check out Carlos's solo on 'Brother to Brother' by Gino Vannelli 👍
Great lesson! The solo is by Steve Lukather (only the solo on the song)
Actually it's played by Carlos Rios
@@crystaldreaming-ambientchi9475 Yes, you are right.
...why are you de-tuned by a semi-tone when the song is played in concert pitch?
i was asking the same question....but great explanation and execution!
Wondering the same thing! Glad I’m not crazy lol
your down 1/2 step
Well your solo is in the key of B not C!
